Heretic's Lot: Prologue

Игра впечатлила! Из минусов - первое, что бросается в глаза - орфографические "ашЫбки". Второе думаю не хватает грамотного туториала в начале, то долго соображал, что же от меня хочет эта игра и то наверно до конца не разобрался. This game was a ton of fun it really reminded me of the maid's castle prologue where you have to strategically move around the map making sure your hp is higher then what you fight can't wait to see the full game I thought it was too easy at first but that final boss fight yoooooooooooooooo lol hopefully in the new release their will be more upgrades and things to spend gold on it kinda just seems like a reroll dump for me which I guess can be strong. Can't wait for the full release I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Heretic's Lot: Prologue is not a game. It's an advertisement/demo for an ugly, mobile app tier, low poly "voxel" art "strategy" game that just involves moving around a small grid and being pummelled by various RNG "encounters", basically pretending to be Rogue/Hack but with about 1% of the depth, and designed for mobile peasants. Yeah, it's that bad. Like the game itself, this demo is of substandard implementation (apart from just the "ugly" excuse for art), with locked resolution, controls, etc. In fact, there's almost no settings, being typical for something designed to be a mobile app but that was never accepted by app stores (because they have quality control). It's a common mistake when unfamiliar with Steam to launch demos/advertisements as full games on Steam instead of tagging them correctly as demos. Here's the instructions for putting a demo up on Steam, to demonstrate that there is a correct process for this, which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an inocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers, but at the end of the day, I can only recommend full, correctly published games to gamers. Because this is just a demo, and because of the other problems with it, I can't recommend it.

I really enjoyed the tactical aspects of the roguelite. It introduced a lot of puzzle mechanics into the strategy roguelite genre and I can definitely see where there's a lot of room to really flesh out the perks and spells to increase the replayability. I recommend Heretic's Lot: Prologue for any players interested in the main game or tactical roguelites in general. It's certainly a good teaser for what Golden Cup Games have in store for us and I look forward to seeing more in the future.

В целом игра понравилась. Приятный визуальный стиль, интересный геймплей, затянуло. Показалось что маловато перков и спеллов, но надеюсь что в полной версии разработчики добавят побольше. Вобщем жду полную версию.
