About
**A student team project designed to deliver a ~10 minute experience.
Help Is On The Way is a sci-fi security simulation where survival depends on what you can’t see directly. You play as Kassandra, a security officer stationed behind a malfunctioning terminal in a remote mining facility. When something goes terribly wrong, your coworker Conor is left navigating the facility’s corridors alone, while you guide him from afar using unreliable security systems.
Conor must finish the remaining work for the day before the escape pod can launch, but an alien presence now stalks the facility. If he dies both your lives are over.
From your terminal, you’ll monitor the facility by shuffling between security cameras, watching for hazards, locked-down areas, and signs of the creature lurking in the dark. You can open, close, and lock doors remotely to control Conor’s path, protect him from danger, or trap threats; if your system allows it.
Your terminal is unstable. Overheating systems will shut down your view, forcing you to cool them manually before you can regain control. On top of that, strict corporate protocols mean you’ll need to sign access papers to authorize certain actions, slowing you down when every second matters.
Balance limited information, failing hardware, and bureaucratic obstacles as you guide Conor through a deadly workday. Help is on the way; but only if you can keep the terminal working long enough!

Very slick little game. It's short but really clever. I hope they can grow it into a full game one day. It's more like a puzzle game where you're juggling keeping your computer going and the crewmember alive.
Great short game.
A really wacky and creative game! You can tell the Devs had a ton of fun with this! If you got 20-30 minutes, I'd say its worth a playthrough.

Awesome little concept demo! Good voices and humour, and some interesting mechanics that came together quite well. Would love to see this taken further!
Nice game! Interesting concept and execution. Just the constant ingame pop-ups (captcha) are annoying. Blocking the whole screen and getting our poor friend eaten as consequence. I recommend giving it a try.
Short but entertaining
This is one of those games that has intentionally clunky, repetitive, and annoying mechanics, but they worked amazingly well since the game was short enough that the mechanics didn't have time to get frustrating. The humor and voice acting were also great. Even with how short the game is, it still felt like a complete game, which not many shorts can pull off. Definitely check this out.

Nice idea, very good. But not good enough for me to play for few minutes longer
