I'm tired of these devs boss
The day you stop expecting them to change is the day you stop being disappointed.
Newest update is poorly ballanced and riddled with bugs. Arrowhead added some interesting new enemies but they are far too numerous for it to feel balanced. The game is also frequently crashing at the menu as well as mid game, and several weapons appear to be killing you at random from incorrect projectile trajectories. Desperately needs a patch

Arrowhead is not doing a good job with this game so far. From crazy, moronic enemy buffs, to ridiculous spawning patterns, there are many problems with the "fixes" Arrowhead performs. Until these things change, I wouldn't buy it.
Only time I have ever reviewed a game because this needs to be said. Unless you have friends to form a full squad, do not buy this game. Playing with random people just results in them shooting you and killing you right before you can extract for no reason. Team killing is not a reportable offense in this game. The community for this game is hot garbage and until this issue is addressed, I will not even have this game installed. Most of my time played has been with friends. You have been warned.
It's really hard to give this game negative review, but decisionmakers have to wake up. When HD2 released, it felt like there was much love and sweat put into this game, but monetization is horrible. First, the game is paid but to JUST get more content you have to grind like it's War Thunder or a gacha game, and the big updates don't feel that big because you're being paywalled behind much of it's content and they mostly aren't that big. The only update that was close to gaining my interest for a bit longer than few days was the illuminate update but it's too little too late. Warbond system is just stupid, you either pay or play low level dives just to speedrun which just isn't fun nor is it rewarding. The thing that crossed the line is warhammer 40k warbond which is... not warhammering? It looks just like another slop warbond despite it having potential to be one of the best....
"I'm tired, boss." Dear Arrowhead, Why do you hate your players so much? What did we ever do to you except buy your game, buy your Warbonds, and forward the spread of Managed Democracy? I'm so very sorry that we don't "play the game right" because you failed to make a "hArDcOrE eXpeRiEnce" and gave us a fun horde shooter instead. I guess the endless nerfs to players and buffs to NPC enemies help you sleep at night, or maybe you're just sadistic. God forbid we have any fun whatsoever and craft metas and playstyles that we, the players, actually enjoy. Can't have that, can we? Maybe that's why you still haven't fixed day one issues like the glitchy terrain, endless ragdolling, and your dogwater in-game physics. You gas us up on being "Super Earth's elite peacekeeping force," then give our character the tactical mobility of a drunken toddler; our armor is "made from the same material as the Super Destroyer's hull"...coulda fooled me with the way grunt-level enemies can give me grievous injury debuffs, and fire melts through it like dollar store candle wax. Maybe take a few months off of pushing new paid content on an already paid game and actually address the most important thing in this or any game...fun. Because at the end of the day, that's what a game is supposed to be. You're not supposed to center ongoing development around new ways to murder players with random BS, you're supposed to give the player, the paying customer, maximum fun for their time and money. So give us those overpowered weapons, let us live the fantasy of being the galaxy's greatest offensive force. Because if you're giving Super Earth's finest watered-down weapons, broken footing, and a recycled mission structure that has long since gone stale, don't be surprised when no one cares about your new Major Orders and your Warbonds. Give the players their fun back, or throw in the towel.
I understand this is a live service game and changes are bound to be frequent enough to expect the unexpected. But let's just say, I used to enjoy the game, and now it's not fun anymore. The unexpected results from the changes in the game on top of the piling frustrations caused by these over time is likely the cause. Especially the unexpected difficulty spikes from these changes. Example: In this recent update, I think they buffed the enemy's accuracy to the point my character's just being rag dolled very far from one laser hit several times over; Harvester suddenly doing 100% accuracy with its laser stream; Vox engine suddenly surviving a leveller missile. Things like these. I've overcome many of the games' changes before using many different kit combos and tactics, but now I think I'm done with the game. If you think you'll have fun and don't mind the frustrations that come with the frequent changes, go try the game out, you'll likely like the game at first. And if you think you've had enough, just move on.
