The game’s VR porting is weird, yet decent and enjoyable!

I got this game for free (because I bought the original game I suppose) some time ago. Finally I got VR glasses (this game was the main reason to be honest). So far it is also my only VR game so I can not compare it to others. I got problems with motion sickness, but maybe that's just me and not the game itself. Some parts looked and felt amazing (especially the beginning). You still control Senua with the keyboard (no mouse for fighting, which confused me at first) or controller, which takes you out of the immersion a little. What really took me out of the immersion were the cutscenes that are not in VR and just played as they are(just bigger than on the normal PC). What really bothered me was that at least for me I was not able to see when the game autosaved. Which on the one hand is better for immersion but as I had problems with motions sickness I could not play too long in one sitting and normally I want to end after a save point. Which I could only guess this time around. One time I guessed very wrong because I though it would save after you finish one of the shard trials. It did not, it only saves in the beginning of them and I had to complete the labyrinth trial again. All I all I enjoyed the experience, but mostly because I love the game itself. You don't really need to play it in VR to be able to enjoy it
Really cool to be able to play in in vr. What i didnt like maybe i did something wrong in settings is that the combat controls where on the left joystick very confusing for a right handed person. Further this is a gem we all know it but its a bit tiring in vr. Theres so much going on rain flashes darkness light that it tires your eyes and brain very easy. all in all 9/10
one of the best vr mode - do this with hellblade II please, people that have vr really love the imersion,so thank you very much
i am not going to replay this version of the game again to give an idea since it really is just a vr version of the normal game. the only reason i do not recommend this version is mainly just because i can get real bad motion sickness, and this game was a test of my character to play through it. if you like the normal version and have no problem in vr, then this one will probably be a great playthrough.
