This game.. It's a hard one for me to recommend to be completely honest.. It's probably thee only populated sim-cade WW2 game right now and it sucks that it has so many issues which don't really seem like they will ever be addressed. My main issue with this game is how EASY it is to shoot in this game every gun's iron sights, range, accuracy, damage is SUPER good and every single gun even submachine guns are literal snipers just tap fire 1-2 shots at 200+ meters and you get kills very easy. Combine this on maps that are fairly open with little cover which.. is a lot cause a lot of maps are in Normandy which has severe lack of cover and constant shrub designs which vastly encourage camping in a bush waiting for people to cross.. It just gets boring.. This game is SUPER fun when you get people who actually communicate and know what they are doing, stick together, placing spawn points, it's a fair balanced game on both sides it is genuine fun and It's where the game shines! But honestly it doesn't really happen much maybe 1 out of 5 to 10 games at most. Also ♥♥♥♥ the queue system in this game trying to get into most servers just sucks cause they only have a max cap of 6 queue size like why?! You get stuck joining lower populated or laggy servers which causes more issues. Also one of the major issues in this game is stability and optimization. It used to be great! But lately even on good hardware I get frame drops and stutters and full on freezes.
优化不错,难度也低于战术小队,值得一玩
HLL is an outstanding game, a perfect balance between the most hardcore simulations and the most accessible FPS titles. It basically has only two serious problems: the first is match length, and although this can drive people away (it happens to me, often), it's an insurmountable problem — it's the very nature of the game that imposes it, so it's a take-it-or-leave-it situation; the second is the optimization of the graphics engine: with a setup that is WAY above the recommended requirements, it shouldn't be the case that, years after the game's release, I'm still getting constant stuttering, having tried everything (in the end I settled on using DX11 capped at 60fps, to get a bit more stability).
Final edit: game refunded. While I appreciate the devs replying, the fact of the matter is these issues have existed for years, and replying to reviews for the publicity =/= fixing the game over the last several years. You had your chance. You lost it. I don't have time to spend money on a game and then troubleshoot it for hours for it to maybe work, while the refund timer expires. Edit: finally got in and no matter what I do, the game stutters and runs terribly. Lower settings, same problem. Different servers. Restart machine. Garbage optimization that causes stutters and hitching resulting in losing gunfights and losing immersion. Refund request is already in "Lost Connection to Host" perpetual error this many years down the line, still not addressed. Will be refunding if it doesn't start working. 0.6 hours of sitting in a damn menu
It's realistic and it's fun to play in groups. The animation is good as well. The servers can get chaotic fast. Also the maps are really well made.

Hell Let Loose | By Wholf

Hell Let Loose was one hell of a game to get into as a beginner with absolutely no experience. You have to learn the different roles, memorize the maps, understand tactics, adapt to different match playstyles, and constantly adjust your own approach. A match can go from relatively easy to absolutely brutal in a matter of minutes. You might clear a town and suddenly have three tanks rolling in, forcing you to completely rethink your approach while communicating with your officer, commander, anti-tank players, and the rest of your squad.
When playing Hell Let Loose, get ready for chaos, gore, blood, and constant changes in the battlefield. You simply never know what's coming next. See a completely open area? Get ready to discover a Garrison and suddenly have 20 enemies spawning around you. See a point packed with soldiers? Expect a bombing run. Spot tanks playing intelligently? Prepare for an entirely different fight. And if artillery starts raining down, well... good luck.
It took me roughly 100–200 hours to really understand the roles, learn the maps in both day and night conditions, figure out when to change my playstyle, and understand how to possibly win certain situations. But one of the most important things I've learned—and something I always teach new players—is simple: communicate.
Talk to your officer. Talk to your squad. Communicate with your commander and support the rest of your team whenever possible. Are you playing a defensive squad? Focus on defence. Communicate with engineers and support players and work together to fortify the objective. Are you playing recon with a spotter? Communicate, mark important locations, destroy Garrisons whenever possible, and take out artillery when needed.
Work together. Communicate. That's where the real advantage comes from. The unfortunate part is that you also have to get lucky. You need a squad that actually communicates, an officer who talks back, and teammates who understand their roles and how they should be playing. When that happens, the difference is enormous. And yes, get ready to walk. A lot.
Hell Let Loose can absolutely feel like a walking simulator at times. But when you understand where you're supposed to go and how to approach a situation, walking for five minutes isn't a big deal if you know you're doing it correctly. You can come out of it with loads of kills, destroy multiple Garrisons, capture objectives, and make a huge impact simply by playing smart.
You also need to learn when not to shoot. See four enemies running across an open field? Sure, you might be able to kill all four. But the second you open fire, you've potentially revealed your position to everyone around them. Always think twice before moving somewhere, engaging an enemy, or firing your weapon. Sometimes patience is far more valuable than another kill. There's so much more I could talk about. Hell Let Loose has been one hell of a ride, one hell of a learning curve, and definitely requires a few steel balls.
After around 920 hours, I'm still enjoying the game as much as ever. Have I rage-quitted? Absolutely. Have I destroyed a couple of keyboards and a mouse? Unfortunately, yes. Did I throw my headset onto the ground last week? Let's not talk about that one. But despite all of that, the game is incredibly fun and absolutely worth playing. It's a unique World War II experience that combines tactical gameplay, teamwork, communication, and, at times, an absolutely ridiculous amount of walking.
But when everything comes together—when your squad communicates, everyone understands their role, your commander knows what they're doing, and the entire team works together—Hell Let Loose freaking rocks. There's still so much more to cover. Honestly, I could probably write an entire guide or even a book about this game, and I'd happily teach new players everything I've learned.
For now, though, I'll simply say this: Give it a chance. Learn, communicate, adapt, and don't give up. You might just fall in love with it. And I can't wait to see what the future holds for Hell Let Loose. edit 28/06: uma breve retratação sobre a afirmação de que o jogo é "pouco explicativo": na realidade, ele conta com um denso, longo e detalhado manual de campo disponível nos menus, que reúne um guia para iniciantes e instruções sobre as funções de cada classe, veículos e equipamentos presentes no jogo. o jogo não possui, entretanto, um tutorial prático e interativo guiado passo a passo; e sim somente um manual escrito, acompanhado de um campo de prática offline utilizado pra testar classes, armas e veículos. querendo ou não, você terá que aprender a jogar na prática, contra outros jogadores on-line. pouco explicativo para um jogo extremamente denso em conteúdos e objetivos; partidas longas que podem durar até 60—90 minutos; vai morrer inúmeras vezes sem nem saber de onde tomou tiro; dependendo do seu spawn, vai ter que correr muito e o seu boneco é lento; extremamente dependente de uma boa comunicação e trabalho em equipe; seu desempenho individual não é recompensador; e não menos importante, o preço cheio do jogo custa uma bagatela de R$214,99 te dei todos os motivos para não jogar esse jogo, jogue por sua conta e risco. dificilmente você vai conseguir jogar 2 partidas sem extrapolar o tempo limite da steam pra conseguir o seu reembolso
