A basic rpg maker game with a bit of challenge to it. For some reason, like with the other rpg maker game That Which Was Lost, The final boss died in one hit. Not sure if the developer forgot to add the stats to the boss, but overall it's a good time killer with a reasonable price.
If I had to describe the game in three words: boring and repetitive. At first, you're pleasantly surprised: oh, the party's changing. But it quickly becomes clear that the individual characters are interchangeable, and so is their story. One menu item irritated me a bit: it said something about subquests. I've played for almost seven hours now and spoken to practically every NPC...but I haven't received a subquest yet. Now for the gameplay: As usual, the group trudges from one dungeon to the next to save the world. There's no grinding. Enemies only exist in the dungeons, and once one is defeated...they're gone. No respawning. Each dungeon has only one group of enemies. Tactics aren't required. This is a problem in the first few dungeons...because there's hardly any loot. And so you have to keep trekking to the next inn. Oh, and there's no fast travel function either. This can be a problem, especially in the last dungeon. If you haven't bought enough mana potions beforehand...you'll have to take the long, desolate journey back. Oh yeah, of course, there's no map, and the dungeons are as desolate as the entire world. And the bug at the end is still there...with just a simple hit (1 ONE) the endboss was done. Remember this bug was reportet back in 2022....that shows that the dev doesn't care about you and this is real shovelware. Well, the only good thing about the game is: I only paid €0.89 for it. I can't recommend it!!!
