a very powerful story talking about the author's life in a emotional and really well written way. Surely, deserving of being called S tier
short but very memorable game. As someone who has looked and scoured for "♥♥♥♥♥♥ up" games since I was 11 or 12, this is one of the most memorable to me. Maybe its because its non fiction. Maybe because I'm also trans. I don't know. But its a very short and moving story, that is completely free. If you can handle the content warnings before going in, I would suggest anyone who is would be willing to play it do. Its free, and not a huge time sink. While I have never done sex work, a lot of the game resonated with lower class, depressingly lonely, transfem me. Having life ♥♥♥♥ you because you can't afford healthcare, your parents never really getting it even if they try, seen as nothing but a fetish because you are trans by a large group of people, and being so haunted by your past that trying to connect to people is a challenge.

A very thought provoking game. If you enjoy heavy topics like this I highly recommend checking out the film "Castration Movie Anthology." Watching this film highly reminded me of when I played this game and the heavy topic dealt with.
Heartbreaking. I was deeply disturbed, I just want to say thank you for making this game, it's something I've never think about or hear anyone talk about, and I doubt anyone can talk about it the way this game did.
MY fav game
It's rare I find stuff that validates what I've felt for so long. Amazing little autobiography
I recommend this game wholeheartedly. Its a very heavy topic, but it's such a human experience that can't quite be explained, only lived. It resonated so deeply with me. One may think you have nothing in common and yet I found myself to relate a lot to the creator of the game. Be warned that my review may contain spoilers. I'm gonna talk about my honest feelings about the game, or well as much as you can say about a topic such as this one on a Steam review without getting overtly personal or detailed. I won't cover the whole game extensively, I'll cover what stood out to me, however I think it's wonderful in its entirety and I truly think every one of us can relate to something in this game no matter who you are. Note to the creator: If the creator of the game ever reads this review, I want to let them know that they're so unbelievably strong. I know it doesn't feel like it and it's somewhat cliche to say but it's true. It takes courage to admit, and unfortunately some people may react badly, others may not. It's so important to tell someone, to not feel as if you're stuck in this bubble and making this game was just that. A way to tell someone, admit this thing holding you in a bubble so you can be free of the burden of keeping it a secret. My thoughts and feelings: I hold much respect for how the creator mentioned that their experiences don't necessarily mean everyone else's are the same and I could feel how respectful and kind they were about the topic. This game may have been created many years after the fact, or at the moment, who knows. However, I have to admire how respectfully they handle the topic and try to ensure other people don't invalidate or police others solely based on their experiences. I know what it's like to be hurt and going through pain and it's hard to think clear or even mention the other side sometimes when all you can feel is your current pain. The game touches on multiple topics, all relating to their job and how it impacted them in multiple assets of life. Their relationships, sexuality, how they view money, etc. The main thing that stuck out to me was: "shame" I deeply relate. I remember a time when shame isolated me and I felt as if I could not confine in anyone for worries of how I would be viewed, what people would believe of me and anyone involved. Now that I look back it wasn't such a big deal overall, and definitely I could have told at least someone. I, however, felt truly alone. I could not for the life of me tell anyone without this looming sense of shame. I didn't want people I was close to to know and yet I couldn't trust strangers enough to tell them either. I felt so isolated and alone. Till this day I can't bring up anything related to that time much, nor do I feel inclined to. I've made my peace by now. We always are worried about what others may and will think of us. While we may not want to care at the same time everyone wants to be loved and so we have to care to some degree about others. Its just human. I think this game, if anything, even if you didn't have the same experiences feels so utterly human and raw. The ideas and emotions behind it, as much as it may suck I think anyone can relate to it. I recommend it, however once again do be warned of the heavy topics. I very much cried throughout the latter half. I truly think this the most profound, cathartic, visceral and overall truly human games I've played.
I just dont like this game or the way the dev tells her own story, things just dont add up for me. there are better games about transitioning like if found... and better games involving the situation of sex workers like glow of honeydew, no need to waste an hour here
