Only a few hours in so far, and it's a genuinely fun time. Nowhere near as punishing as other roguelikes I've played before, and a nice little light hearted palette cleanser that's still in the Halloween spirit as I take breaks from the likes Eternal Damnation and Cry Of Fear. The game itself feels like a mixture of Luigi's Mansion and the MSX Metal Gear games. Stealth is emphasized as taking enemies head-on is generally not a great idea. There's plenty of stats to upgrade, items and tools to use, and collectables to find. So far I've yet to encounter any bugs or glitches, but there's been plenty of reports made so it could be a gamble. Based on my experience, I wouldn't think twice about grabbing this. It's a very competently made, fun time for the Halloween season.

Uma OBRA prima BR! Que experiência gostosa, não conheço o Haunted House do Atari mas conheço o da Orbit Studio. A arte e a ambientação do jogo certamente é um ponto que chama muito atenção, os cenários do jogo são lindos demais, tudo charmosamente harmônico não tem como, ficou animal. Gameplay flui muito bem, trilha sonora boa demais... A história do jogo é bem bacana e o final foi bem inesperado, foi uma surpresa kkk mas ficou muito legal! Achei o game difícil passei raiva em vários momentos kkk mas eu curti demais a pegado do jogo, esse é o 2 game da Orbit Studio que eu me surpreendo, continuem assim. Novamente agradeço demais a consideração, oportunidade e confiança um abração pra toda equipe da Orbit Studio e parabéns pelo trabalho ficou sensacional, que venham mais games hehe!! Here we go with the classic line... I don't really understand ANY of the negative comments. What's not to like (maybe Love?). It's a reimagining port of the classic Atari 2600 cozy Haunted House game. But with updated everything! It's got a TON of content, varied enemies, different rooms and goals to discover, objects to use, stores to buy items from and special rooms with special bonuses or characters - plus some neat easter eggs. If I had to cry about something, some of the combat is frustrating because you get stuck against objects some of the time and some of the gameplay gets repeatitive and lastly that it's too difficult at times. You should DEFINITELY get more money to spend on helpful objects at the stores without having to work so long or hard. But otherwise it's an excellent game and without a question more than worth the money for the amount of time, gameplay and fun experience you get!!! Very highly recommended!

game bom demais

I've been enjoying this a lot. It's a pretty simple game, but enough to be enjoyable. Unfortunately, it does have some bugs, and gameplay loop doesn't advance much beyond just being a bit more challenging (as far as I played so far) It's not a hard game though. I'd love to see Atari make more indie style games like this. I'm interested in seeing what they do in the future, but I'd like to see some more polish. Might be worth waiting for a sale if you're interested in this game.

When it bugs out, it bugs out hard. Atari pumped this out and never looks back. It would be great to be proven wrong.

This is a very fun game, and the release was timed perfectly for Halloween. The game is not demanding with regard to computing resources, and the price is very reasonable. The visuals are spooky but not scary, making the game playable by a wide range of ages. The music fits perfectly with the atmosphere. Strangely, the game always shows that my last save was in August of 2022, but that's the only issue I encountered, and it's not a deal breaker. The developer has already released some patches, so I wouldn't be surprised if they address this at some point.

Haunted House is a absolute blast. It's so comfy for a rouge game. The different mechanics of sneaking vs going in lamp-a-blazing keeps you on your toes and the RNG of never knowing quite what room you will wander into or how a Boss will react to you is always keeping me interested. I've been playing it on stream for the past few weeks and It's been a such a giggle, as its not so high stress that I cannot chit chat with everyone but equally high tension at times enough to make cheering together a joy! Highly recommend if your looking for a comfy rouge game that is so cute and will defo catch you off guard at how addictive it is to play. -MissOoky

Nice roguelike reimagining of the Atari game that's arguably the first "survival horror" game. Not too scary or creepy by today's standards ofc, it's more of an adventure/stealth kinda thing, but a fun game nonethelss (if you're into roguelikes, that is). There's also a "scavenger hunt" side quest where you'll have to collect Atari games hah.
