I really want to play this game but I cant get it to work. It'll load the game fine, but as soon as I hit the play button. the only thing i see is the door with the lock and a hourglass logo for loading. I've tried when I had the Quest 2, now having the Quest 3 and still nothing. I tried it the link cable and the airlink, and finally after changing the quality of the graphics and still no luck. I dont recommend the game till they come back and fix this issues. I cant risk hurting my graphic card for this game. Update. got the game to finally work if I dont load the game thru steam vr. didnt realize how short it was. but other than having issues with it and being a short game. it was decent. I can see it becoming something bigger tho for short if alot of work and dedication goes into it.
Do not get this game. Free to download is too expensive. Movement and look controls are ass-backward while the other TWO controls (sprint and grab) are DOA for Index. Yep, your math is correct; half of what you can do in the game is move and look and they are infuriatingly bad. Also, the scale within the "house" is all over the place. Additionally, the "ghostly" images are reminiscent of 1993's Seventh Guest with the exception that Trilobyte knew how to remove the rendering window so it didn't look like you were watching something projected on glass. Oh yeah, what's going on with the floating plane under the staircase? Why was this released, I mean aside from a "proof of concept"? I read the reviews before and guess I wanted them to be wrong like in so many other titles. I'll probably check out the updates if they ever roll out because I love the idea MEPTIK is going for, but at this point, I wouldn't even consider this as in beta.

I love escape room games. And then discovering another one in VR is a dream. Unfortunately, there was a rude awakening. The menu cannot be operated. You can adjust neither the controls nor the graphics. FPS drops included. In the game you only move forward in stealth mode and turning the left stick is a fight. Presentation, atmosphere and feeling in the game are great. If only it weren't for this big but...... Please please dear developers. Makes the game playable. Even if it's a fight, at least with Quest 2, the game is worth it. Just test it.
So I knew this experience was not going to be peak horror, however, while the scares were alright(augmented by being in vr), the actual moving mechanics are broken. Sometimes when you try to move forward you end up sliding back and to the left at a much faster rate. This not only broke up game play it also "allowed" me to clip out of the house on the second floor, from there I got to see what the outside looked like until it crashed as I tried to reach the front of the house to place the final key.
A free walking sim experience which has some minor issues. I would like to stress that there is a huge file size to download and if we include the feeling when we see the trailer videos and photos here, it creates an expectation that's too far to fullfill. - Walking is annoyingly slow, that would attract negative reviews for many people I guess. - Sudden Very Loud Sound Effects are the only thing that would maybe jumpscare you - It has unbelievebly very little content here according to its huge size to download. + There is nice detailed atmosphere here, with a bit of a creepy at times but a few surprising moments. If you are ok to spend your five minutes and act like it was a few megabytes content, you could try it.. Otherwise, I don't recommend.
Impossible de bouger sa vue manuellement, peu d'interaction, on se déplace super lentement avec la manette : le jeu est juste lent et frustrant
terrible controls using quest2 with link extremely slow movement and kept making me walk backward.hope they get it fixed because the visuals are very stunning!
Beautiful and unusable. I have a pretty powerful system and this couldn't run. If they fixed it so it ran better and had quicker locomotion i would love it.
This is a basic Haunted house experience, anyone who enjoys haunted houses should check this out. The performance is way better on a 1060GTX 6GB after the update. The controls still need a snap turn, hopefully this comes in the next update. You need to find 3 keys to get out. The graphics are nice. I appreciate this experience since the update.
