Finally decided to pick it up after the whole controversy back in the day, and man is it fun! I mean i really enjoyed it haha. The top-down viewing angle is great and all, but first and third person are absolute must-haves. i would recommend the 1.666 mod but, i simply cannot due to some problems i address. the first and third person make the game feel like a whole new game. But, i do not like how the mod removes and adds certain things, like survival mode is completely gone, dude removed the power plant level and did some ♥♥♥♥ with a prison, Creator of the mod is flippin nuts and quite frankly, off the f*cking rails. I also didnt like the whole school shooting level at the end, where the premise is exactly as it sounds...(you shoot as much kids as possible)...0_o. dude is genuinely depraved. at the end, the credits have some edgy 14 year old twitter-kid-like remarks, where he goes on a maga sh*t rant talking about how the left are terrorists and has straight up edge-lord humor, its so insufferable. So, instead of the 1.666 mod, get the 1.333 mod. its much better and is much more faithful the the original story. and dude doesnt bring straight up BS into the game. anyways, would i recommend the game itself? Absolutely. What would I rate the game on a scale of one to ten? 8.5/10 for fun and overall enjoyability. 6.0/10 for overall game stability. Graphics are beginning to feel dated, but i would rate them a cool 7-ish/10. Story is quite mediocre but oddly intriguing, 5.8/10. OVERALL 7.2/10, HIGHLY ENJOYABLE, BUT WITH SOME DRAWBACKS but seriously, dont get the mod.
