Great game, but….THOSE KRIFFIN VINES! I’m on level 6,705 and I’m having a devil of a time trying to complete it. Not too many moves and way too many stinking vines! I know that there are vines in the movies and books, but do they have to be everywhere! Cut down on the vines!

💕Amortentia💕 For those non-Potterheads—Amortentia is the strongest love potion there is. That’s how I feel about this game. I’ve had it downloaded for a while, and didn’t really play it. Recently, I saw a friend playing it, and I went back on. There has been SO much added since then. More levels,more level-ups, more events, etc. Not many match three games keep my attention for long, but this one has me logging on every day for rewards and daily puzzles. It’s such a simple concept, and many say it’s like other games. But, like, no. It’s Harry Potter, so it’s better, duh. Anyways, in short, I LOVE this game, and it’s so fun and detailed, and perfect for those either just discovering the Wizarding World or those who grew up watching Emma, Dan, and Rupert. This game cheats! In my 40 years of playing computer games, this is the only game that I lose by one move 65% of the time! Don’t worry though, you can pay to get more moves.

Great family game This is a great family game that follows the story of Harry Potter. You can have a team with all your family members. I enjoy hearing the voices of all the characters and the music is great too. The puzzles engage your mind but they are not overly complicated. Definitely recommend..

So now there are ads IN-game? One of the big draws to this game was that there are no annoying ads or ad banners scrolling while you play. Ads are reserved for more lives if you run out. This update has brought banners on the top of the game, which narrows the playing areas. These annoying banners have been slowing the game down and creating glitches. I am sure the developers will say “well, it’s only for our products,” but this is how it starts. Next thing you know this game is going to turn into some “Gossip Harbor” garbage where you get more ad time than play time. No thanks. I think it is time to put aside this game for a while. I’ll be moving onto a game that is going to be more concerned about the players’ experience than their ad revenue. Also, no one is going to collect all of those cards. It’s impossible in the time needed and when they just don’t give you certain cards—getting that prize is impossible.

Fun stuff It’s good for the potter fans. It basically tells the story through three match game.

Money Sucker I’ve been playing this since it first released and for as long as I can remember I have always gotten ads for extra moves up to a certain point in the day. Once I used the ads a certain amount of times it would no longer appear until it refreshed the next day. Recently I made a small in game purchase and since then the ads for extra moves have disappeared. I tried going to support and they just gave me a bs excuse that certain people get it for certain reasons but it’s pretty clear that it’s because I finally made an in game purchase. I brought this up, but again they just avoid it and say “your feedback is extremely valuable” and that’s it. It’s quite frustrating no longer having the ads because if I want to keep a streak going for certain events and all I need is one or two extra moves, I don’t want to spend gold/powers up just to do it. It seems like they take away the ads once you’ve made a purchase because they want you to continue to make purchases and therefore keep spending money. If I had known this would happen and start making the game more difficult to play and the qol of the game much worse prior to making the purchase, I never would have made the purchase in the first place. I am very disappointed with this game and it’s a terrible model to force players to either spend more money or have a harder time to play. If you look online and even in other reviews here you’ll see that others have ran into the same issue and you can see the BS responses in return.

Used to really like it I’m up in the 5000’s for puzzles… it takes so many tries to pass each level now, I find myself playing less and less all the time. Also I used to buy the season passes, but quit that too, it’s just not that fun, and I hardly ever win the side games, they’re difficult too. ☹️
