Hammerwatch Anniversary Edition

This "remaster" is great. It is simply original Hammerwatch put in upgraded engine of Heroes of Hammerwatch. That means you can aim with your mouse, which is really great. There is no need to collect XP or levels, and you also don't need to grind so much. It contains: campaign from original Hammerwatch (Castle Hammerwatch), it's DLC (Sun Temple) and modified campaign from Heroes of Hammerwatch (Shaftlocke Tower with enchanced and larger floors), but unfortunately without it's DLCs. Class system remains almost the same. All of it offers you around 20 hours of dungeon delving, killing thousands of enemies, upgrading your character Overall, really great game worth it's price, which enhance the original. Big plus is also possibility play this gem in cooperation. I highly recommend this game. Wish there were more games like this.

Strange- I loved the original game, but this anniversary edition I feel like I'm completely lost 90% of the time, switches are difficult to see, nothing is explained, confusing levels up/down, lots of endless wandering around. Even the options menu is confusing with it's red and yellow color scheme. Just stick with the original.

A really fun dungeon crawler. The gameplay is good, the classes were interesting and the music was cool. Watch out 'cause it's hammer time. Some special info: Castle Hammerwatch campaign is the best one, while Shaftlocke Tower is the most detailed one... both of them are great. Sun Temple on the other hand has some crazy difficulty curve, it's unbalanced as hell and the mirrors catching you on fire all the time were awful. All in all I think it's a good game as 80% of it goes hard. Wish the Sun Temple campaign was playtested though 'cause it's rough. Now time to hammer that watch... wait what?!

Попытка быть диаблоидом или чем-то, напоминающим буллет хэлл с налётом вампайр сурвайворс с душной прогрессией, где вечно не хватает золота и с ублюдскими ловушками, которые практически ваншотают. Пиксель-арт отличный, голоса персонажей прикольные, механика в целом понятная. Сложности в игре практически не отличаются за исключением большего количества духоты в мобах, которые даже после себя почти ничего не дропают. Очень устаревший геймдизайн в духе первого дума, где нужно как ошалелый искать ключи по карте и изворачиваться. Выраженный бэктрекинг и почти полное отсутствие интерфейса. Нельзя посмотреть подобранные паверапы и уровни твоих улучшений.

[h1] ダンジョン探索してドラゴンを倒せ！王道アクションRPG [/h1] ダンジョンに存在する無数の敵を倒して自信を強くしていき、最上階のボスを倒すのを目指そう。 シンプルな作りで嫌らしい罠もほとんどなく、遊びやすい作りのゲームで良かった。 [h3] システム [/h3] 無数の敵を相手に戦っていきます。虫が多いので虫嫌いの人は注意。数多くの敵を相手にコンボが繋がるよう良い感じに倒すタイミングや移動を調整したりと立ち回りを考えるのが面白いです。 ダンジョンにはお金が落ちており、お店でお金を使って様々なステータスを上げていきます。 単純に攻撃力や新しい技だけでなくコンボ継続の猶予や攻撃範囲など結構細かい成長要素があるのも面白い部分です。 ダンジョンは固定マップになっており、丁寧に作られてます。カギはちゃんと扉分存在しているし、隠し部屋などもありますが壁が崩れかかっていたりと分かりやすいし、見づらいスイッチもマップを見れば分かるので割と親切です。 [h3] 感想 [/h3] 1人でも楽しかったです。マルチ前提とまでは言いませんが、ジョブによってはほぼ対処できないような敵もいたりするので最初に選んだキャラによってゲームの評価が変わりそうです。遠距離攻撃がありそうな弓や魔法使いが良さそう。 でも復活アイテムを独り占めできるので中盤から緊張感なく遊べました。ただそれでもちゃんとステ振りを考えないとあっという間に溶かされてしまうので一定の緊張感はあったので楽しかったです。 [h3] 気になった点 [/h3] ・取り返しが付かない要素がある 　中ボスを挟むと前のエリアに戻れず、取り逃しがあって真エンドを迎えられないことが早々に確定してしまいがち。（エリアの探索があらかた終わったらボスへ行く前に取りこぼしが無いか攻略を見た方が良いかも） ・1人プレイだと職業によっては対処しづらい敵がいる 　敵の魔法使いなどが小さい玉を複数出すので近接職だと出だしの収束した状態で多段ヒットして一瞬で死にがち。タイミング見て速攻掛けたりしても一撃では倒せなかったりして2，3回復活アイテムを使ってようやく倒せるみたいなことになってしまう。（遠距離職が無難だけど、完全に対処できないわけではないので留意しておく程度で良さそう） [h3] おわりに [/h3] ローグライクでなく、しっかり計算された設計のダンジョンをクリアしたい人や無数の敵をバッタバッタと倒しまくりたい人、アクションRPGが好きな人にはオススメです。

My first introduction to the Hammerwatch series and it did not disappoint. I recommend checking it out.

Got this game from humble bundle, but it's an awesome game. Perfect if you like top down games. The controls are incredibly easy to understand as it's just point and click. The multiplayer is perfect, the maps and stories are great, and there's a lot of content for even just one of the stories. 9/10 would greatly recommend if you enjoy an RPG style top down.

It's a fun but very simplistic action game. Not much variety to the classes and no skill/build customisation. I would recommend playing in co-op with infinite lives enabled, as it can be a bit overwhelming in solo mode. Start with Castle Hammerwatch > Sun Temple > Shaftlocke Tower for the best experience. It took roughly 15 hours to complete all 3 campaigns, but I took my time and 100% explored each map so might be quicker in co-op.

I really don't like that you can only hold one piece of gear at once, and only one potion. There's only one range spell. It makes it not really a RPG, but a arcade like upgrade game It is fun though.

I cannot recommend this game. One button game where you run like headless chicken around with different skins ennemies exploding or hitting you between each acts. If you played one or two hours, You have seen it all.
