Half-Life

Classic game which is still worth playing to this day. I've been getting into Half Life as of late for the first time, growing up my only exposure to it being through Gmod and SFM. I started the game about and a half ago and was about halfway through it until I switched computers and the game deleted my save file. I decided to try and pick it back up again a few days ago and just finished it half an hour or so ago as of writing this review. I'll try and avoid any major spoilers as the game is best seen through experience. Don't let the outdated graphics and goofy dialogue fool you, this game is a great time. It can be a bit janky from time to time but nothing immersion breaking, this game is extremely immersive with its story telling. Pretty much never taking away control from the player, allowing you to feel like you are actually apart of the world and affecting it with your own actions instead of being a vessel for another character. The gameplay is super fun, mixing strategic gunplay with logic based puzzle solving. Most of the puzzles feel simple enough to understand but not so easy that it doesn't feel rewarding from completing them. Allowing for progression to feel smooth and well paced. My only real complaint with the game is final few chapters which were a bit of a downgrade compared to the rest of the game but was worth it for the ending. I recommend this game to anybody who wishes to try it out or get into the Half Life franchise, 100% worth your time.

HALF-LIFE, I cant speak for it. It is a extremely good game I think everyone should give Half Life a try I loved every second of it. Though it can be hard it is worth the completion. Everyone seems like a decisive person so I can't choose for you you can step into half life or I can give you a battle you can not win.

Revolutionary. This game changed first-person shooters forever.

JESUS CHRIST THIS GAME IS SO HARD, i've got angry over 10 times at it. Maybe it's because it was my first time playing but MAN the boss fight is probably one of the worst boss fights in gaming. I love this franchise but bloody hell mate! >:( It still is a good game don't get me wrong, because for those who played hl2 before playing this will understand most references maybe the gman made, or a vortigaunt made.
