I realize that this game was very influential to the gaming scene but omg I cant stand this game. The movement feels like Im running on ice The jumping is inconsistent cause of the weird inertia The levels are very confusing to navigate unless you already know where youre going The game sets rules (turrets cant be blown up for multiple levels) then arbitrarily breaks them (surface tension lets you blow them up) Enemies spawning in behind me in a room I cleared seconds ago The level aesthetics are good and memorable but omg thats it, thats all I can say about this game. Im sure when it came out but its aged like milk. The combat is nothing special to infuriating and the "story" can be summarized in 1 sentance Gordon ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up an experiment and then escapes from all the interdimensional monsters while being shot at by the military because ????? reasons. If this game had a good story Id suffer thru the boring to infuriating combat and mazes this game calls level design but it doesnt. Hope half life 2 is good cause omg what a waste of my time and sanity
