Half-Life: Alyx

Considering I'm a huge fan of the Half-Life series, anything I say will sound like praise. But in this version, I got something more than I expected. While the story depth wasn't as deep as other versions of the series, it didn't need to be. The experience of playing in VR covered all these little points. The enjoyment of the environment, the anxiety of being involved in everything, and the deep impression during the game made every moment memorable. There was only one problem. Twice during the game, I forgot I was playing in a virtual world and hit the room wall hard. Haha!

Immersion so good you'll forget what reality looks and feels like. With suitable haptics for every touch, you can get lost in City-17 like it was your own hometown. You'd be missing out if you played with the no VR mod, as you can genuinely feel every shot you take at an enemy combine, zombie, or antlion. If you have a VR headset, this is a must-buy. Not to mention, it has a thriving workshop scene, so if you've ever dreamt to be Alyx Vance using a bow to shoot an explosive barrel with headcrab zombies crowding it, you can! Honestly, I can't recommend this game enough, you can tell a lot of love was put into this game, and if you still aren't convinced, may I add that it has gnome chompski? That loveable gnome that you carried through the streets of left 4 dead 2 and white forest from half-life 2 episode 2? Yeah, he's here now, and he's surprisingly not as annoying to carry as a lot of people say, I say this with a gnome run under my belt. Are you convinced yet? Well, you better be once I tell you that there's new friendly faces you'll be meeting, new combine you'll be facing, and new xen flora and fauna you'll be struggling against during your journey. It's honestly so cool how big the worldbuilding is for this game, how every beer bottle has a liquid simulation inside, every animal and plant reacting how they would if you were to see them in real life, and all that with surprisingly low requirements for specs. Might I add that almost every interaction has been accounted for? For example, when you're planning your journey, your companion will react accordingly to what you use as a stand-in for yourself. Now, are you ready to play? Because I would be.

за 12 часов не спешного прохождения я вытрахал всех хердкрабов и поиграл в реально годную вр игру (только из-за нее я купил шлем:) обезательна к прохождению если есть вр

нельзя рисовать писюны в лифте, не реалистично, удаляйте игру

Купил VR ради этой игры и, ♥♥♥♥♥, ни разу не пожалел. Valve просто взяли и показали, какой должна быть нормальная VR-игра. Атмосфера такая, что в темных коридорах реально начинаешь выглядывать из-за угла, а хэдкрабы заставляют кирпичный завод работать без выходных. Отдельный кайф это перчатки Рассела. Ловить предметы взмахом руки не надоедает вообще. А момент, когда впервые встречаешь Джеффа... Кто играл, тот поймет. После него начинаешь ценить кнопку сохранения как родную мать. Жаль только, что после Alyx почти все остальные VR-игры ощущаются как демки. Valve, хватит молчать. Мы уже поняли, что цифра 3 у вас вызывает аллергию.
