It's really fun and I like the lore and character designs.

Finally defeated Hades in a boss fight. I have no idea why some GREEK gods that reside in GREECE are depicted as black but other then that the game itself is amazing and deserves your attention for sure
i like it
After being recommended this game, it sat on my steam account for months and now my only regret was that I didn't start it sooner. The sheer amount of unique dialogue is so immense that I am very far beyond the game's epilogue and can still receive unique content 130 hours later and smile or laugh. The actual gameplay loop of dying as a mechanism for advancement feels natural and the amount of variety you can experience keeps everything fresh. The visuals are charming, the gameplay loop is engaging, and you can really attach yourself to this world. Not to mention, the narrator's wise cracks (and so many other characters' lines) are hilarious. The only critique I would have is that sometimes the RNG for triggering dialogue make you very unlucky if you're looking for a specific achievement or interaction, or that I don't always feel rewarded for upgrading the House of Hades' decor (which is optional anyway). Would recommend if you're considering buying it; I have also not experienced any bugs or gameplay issues.

After playing it a bit I realized that it's a game with potential. The Roguelike aspect makes it very hard to progress since your progress keeps being reset every time you die, which is why I don't understand why roguelikes became the battle royale of this half decade. None the less the trash mobs are so easy to defeat and some unlockeable weapons (Bow not included that one sucks) are so powerful that it's really easy to get to Megaera, but then the difficulty spikes suddenly while battling her, still after three or four attempts she's taken down without much issue. The game is very easy but the idea of losing progress on death is what ruins it for me, other than that, pretty solid game, the artstyle is atrocious except for the character sprites in the dialogs, the powers you sometimes get are straight downgrades, like the knock back "buff" your abilities can get, that just pushes the enemies away from your attacks. It's a 6/10 for me, slightly above average but not to the point of being considered a great or even good game... It's a "Play it if you want"
a very additicting game in good way
