as saddened as I am that this game's story is a downgrade from its predecessor, there's SO many funny things you can do gameplay-wise. once I learned the boons I felt like I could break any weapon with any gods I was given. poseidon attack on anubis staff oh how I love you dearly

Hades 2 is my favourite roguelite of all time.The first game was already outstanding but this game just adds more levels and bosses to the mix.If you are into roguelites Hades 2 is a must play.

I played the game in Early Access and kind of burnt myself out on it, but I'll be back eventually to clean up achievements and see the ending. I still found the game very enjoyable, with fantastic writing just like the first game. Melinoe is a great new protagonist - I was in the "we don't need a second Zagreus adventure" camp, and was rewarded with an interesting character in her own right.
