A great VR tour of Guildford castle. It superimposes the old and the new, allowing you to experience what it was like when it was first built and during it's evolution. I need more of these!
Really nice example of a castle and town in the medieval period. Narration was great. Some textures showing the old period atop the new didn't render. Also, the talking posts were sometimes a ways away from the portal in God Mode. Would recommend if you are interested in the period or if you are a history geek.
Great experience into interactive VR education. There are some issues with UI, but it is also the best template for anyone to build a VR story. The game perfectly optimizes texture pop-in to display hand-made flowers and photogrammetry. Creating great detail for VR while maintaining good FPS for movement.

Demonstrates the amazing potential VR has for interpreting and appreciating historic sites.
upvote for the effort and information. it's not a perfect experience tho
Very informative. Good solutions found for knowledge transfer. I liked the god mode and free roaming around the village very much. Some minor VR issues and quality loss with old headsets though. Definitely worth a download!
Kudos to the devs for this. Its already an impressive VR historical experience/guided tour on the castle grounds alone, but my mind was blown when I realized it also had a fully explorable medieval reenactment of the entire Guildford town with a beautiful 24-hour weather system.
Before I played Guildford Castle VR, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Update to the update: Tried this time with a 2080 and Quest 2 (although still technically not supported hardware). The visuals are now very smooth, but didn't get the audio using Steamlink. Will continue trouble shooting and updating as I find solutions. On account of the great support from the dev, I'm moving to a positive review. Hope to test with a physical link this week. For reasons unknown, I could not get my PC to recognize the Questlink app. Update: On account of the publisher's swift reply, I will borrow a headset from a friend and give this another try. This is an experience, that I truly want to take advantage of. Original Review: Had severe issues playing this on the PSVR2 headset. Not even with a 4080 could I get this game to be stable for long. I'm open to community recommendations for getting this to run smoother.
