Sacrificing cards instead of playing them defeats the purpose of being a card game. It's glacially slow. AI has unfair advantages.
This is a 10 year old strategy boardgame/cardgame with a fantasy battles theme, ripping off the venerable Magic The Gathering game and a few other franchises. Cast spells with cards to summon monsters (so original) and send them all over the battlefield. There's no deckbuilding, just random monster cards, which is understandably disappointing. The developer removed this from the store, falling on their swords wisely, as the game is very buggy under the newest builds of Windows 10 (changing the resolution causes a screen lock and freeze/crash). The gameplay itself is really not all that great despite the effort that went into it. Gamers looking for a good deckbuilder can try Slay the Spire or MtG, which is free online. If you want a good fantasy battle game, Total War: Warhammer is great.
I'm sure this game has its charm somewhere, but to get to that requires walking through spikes, fires, and a pit of death. Constant freezes and an awkward system that will still have you scratching your head even when you read the manual makes for a painful experience to any that are not willing to study the mechanics just a little bit. Eventually, I was able to get some footing and it actually felt pretty good, though overall I'd rather just avoided this game completely. Graphical glitches, like two songs that play, not a lot of customization when it comes to deckbuilding, and a campaign that really pushes you to your limit of strategy make this a game that you should probably pass unless looking for a skill-based game. RNG is very small, most of it can be ignored by pulling cards and mass buying when you have the spare mana. Seeing as how this game is not available anymore and I don't remember how much I bought this for, yet if this were back on sale, I would probably skip this or get it for like $5 USD. There are too many issues for this to be enjoyable compared to many other games you could get.
karcianka, calkiem spoko, nie wiem czemu przypomniala mi o homm, moze ze wzgledu na podobienstwo niektorych postaci, albo grafik... co do gry to nie jest zla, a nawet przyjemna i wymagajaca
One of THE worst games I've ever played...
Tags: Boards & Cards Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Basically a turn based version of minion masters with every match randomizing the deck based on your starting leader. I recommend you play minion masters instead as the pacing is much more dynamic and real strategies that you can adapt on the fly make for much more dynamic matches http://store.steampowered.com/app/489520/Minion_Masters/ Tactical/TCCG hybrid in which hexgrid map floats in the middle of the air and you spawn creatures based on your manapool and available cards. You can sacrifice cards for in-battle modifiers and you may keep spawning and using spells well into the match and not just initially in the setup phase. So this essentially becomes a swarmer game but using turn based mechanics and odd card management economics. The audiovisuals did not impress but I had no technical issue on my small playtest.
Not even listed anymore, but woo boy did this feel like playing a train crash.
