after a couple of hours playing i think this is another game that has potential. its a simple game, and not groundbreaking. in its current state i would say its worth getting it so cheap and hope the devs improve the game. something simple that would massively improve the game is being able to keybind. also making it clear that its for controller as the keyboard and mouse controls are really bad to use, not intuitive at all. seems easy to cheese some of the mobs and not alot of options when it comes to skills. another simple thing to add is volume settings. the music is pretty loud and not being able to turn it down isn't nice. also the time it takes to get out of combat is longer than the combat itself so you are stood there waiting to pick up loot which is a bit frustrating. on a positive the crafting seems like it could be good, hard to tell after playing a couple of hours but i'm hopeful this game will work out. I like the style and the direction of the game but still a long way from being enjoyable for an extended period of time. for now i'll recommend this buy as its so cheap but only buy if its on sale under a £1 and you play with a controller. add keybinding add basic sound options fix keyboard controls fix time to get out of combat add more skill variety until then i'll shelf the game and try again. goodluck devs
Well all I can say is, if you use mouse n keyboard, don't bother. The controls fer this are not good at all. I don't get my money back fer many games, but if I can't play because of controls, then I can't play at all.
I played for about 25 minutes. I got it at an 80 percent discount for 0,99€. I recommend you get this game on a discount. There are many things I did not appreciate in the game. The Steam Capsule and main artwork feel AI-generated, and the pupils of the Legolas-like character look strange. There are at least three different art styles in the game. One is a lo-fi 3D model for your in-game character, then the inventory has an anime profile picture that does not match either the Steam Capsule artwork or your in-game character. This creates a strong disconnect in art style. The controls are awkward. I played with an Xbox controller and had serious difficulty unlocking a new skill. I had to use a combination of mouse and controller because the Xbox buttons seemed to select "No" whenever I tried to unlock a skill. The levels are huge and feel empty. In the starting village there are two horses in a ranch that always get stuck in each other, which destroys the atmosphere. Not a good first impression. When you shoot arrows, if you accidentally hit a tree your arrow gets stuck and becomes enormous, at least five times the height of a human. Dashing around is necessary because the levels are so large and empty, but accidentally hitting objects makes the sounds glitch and play multiple times at once. The game clearly aims to be large and deep with many skills, but it struggles with basic mechanics such as moving around and unlocking new abilities. More unguided playtesting early on could have solved these issues. The music is okay and the sound effects can be a bit loud in some areas. The main problem is that the game is not fun to play. The dash skill is overpowered and can be spammed endlessly, which makes monsters easy to kite. However, even kiting feels awkward because of the jerky controls. I cannot recommend this game at full price. It is overly ambitious, tries to do more than the team can manage, and fails to ensure that the controls are intuitive.
I didn't play this game long but it all i could really take i couldn't hand the controls you move around using the mouse no wasd those are used for skill or something game doesn't really tell you anything but two pictures at the start one showing controller controls and one keyboard and mouse seems almost like it was made for mobile it even has a joystick that shows up when your moving around, i think it could be a good game if they re did the controls and added an option menu have to ctrl shift tab so i can click the exit to close the game esc key doesn't do anything its been like a year and a half with no news or updates so i guess buy on sale case you want to play longer then me and there discord just goes to the publisher and the only thing they talk about there game they made seems they let this one die
