Shrunk again, but the world is much larger. In this open-world, single-player or co-op survival adventure, craft weapons and armor, build your base, and traverse the playground on your buggy. But something else is out there—and it hasn’t forgotten you.

This game is fun... If it wasn't actively trying to make you hate your whole experience while playing it. At this time, the game is designed to be as frustrating as possible in every aspect and I don't even know if they tested some of these levels and bosses. I love a challenging game but most of the challenge in grounded 2 just feels so unfair and cheap that it just turns into a slog and its sad to see as I didn't have these problems last game. Here are a couple of things that just felt unfair and cheap. -The amount of times I have been ganked by random high tier creatures is insane as if it expects you to somehow deal with it and this is even harder on solo. Running is not an option because the follow speed and distance are insane. You'd be fighting 1 bug then 3 more joins. You'd be exploring a fairly tame level area and a mantis or a wolf spider out of nowhere just ruins your day and guards your backpack. A fight is going well? nope another 3 just showed up from behind. -You have an npc that will send about 5-10 bugs at you at the worst moments that will materialize out of nowhere to just end you. -The first story boss was such a sudden difficulty spike that I had to beat it solo because my friend could not keep up. Its like putting Malenia where Margit should be. -Enemy placements on awkward/platformer terrain. Who thought that fighting a big spider on a tiny branch was great idea? Or a whole big wolf spider that clips into terrain is somehow fun to fight in a cramp tunnel? Oh they also deal venom that melts your health if you weren't one shotted. -Boss attack hitbox is insane. King dozer and Axl is so massive that I had to max out my FOV so I can see their attacks and they can hit from a mile away with barely any windup. The normal bugs have attacks that you can follow and learn but the bosses feel so unbalanced and spongy. Something that massive should have more wind up with attacks. -Want to try out a weapon or a whole armor set to make better builds? 30 brittle whetstone and 15 globs for a weapon. Armors cost about 48 brittle plating and 24 sturdy. There is no way to refund anything if you did not like the armor you invested on so better make sure to have at least one good build. -The bonuses for fighter/rouge/mage/ranger classes are so underwhelming that it might as well not be there at all. -This isn't the case now with the new abyss update after introducing ziplines and fast travel but the map was so awkwardly divided that it will took you so much time to get back to base if you didn't place it in the center of that map. It was kinda weird how it took them this long to add ziplines as it was already implemented in the last game. Sure the mounts are nice and makes traversal easier but theres always a chance to be ganked on your way back and ziplines are faster and safer. -The game itself is so poorly optimized that it will actually ramp up your difficulty as your survival depends on how well you perfect block and dodge and every frame matters. -Science grind is so inflated that I havent chosen any of the decorative recipes so I can progress the game. Overall, I cant recommend the game at this stage and it feels like a slog. Whenever i managed to overcome these challenges, It barely felt like a victory. Things that make the game fun are just bogged down by awful experiences.

I've played this game. Now I have PTSD, severe Arachnophobia and I'm constantly on the verge of unlocking a new phobia every time I boot up the game. 10/10 experience, except it's a 9/10 because of the bugs. You'll never know which bugs I mean.
