!!! AVOID !!! As of March 2023 its been 5 months and no update game seems abandoned. Interesting concepts but game is very unfinished and not balanced.
you are a demon or something. you float around while manually placing towers every few seconds (these go away a few seconds later). sometimes arrows are shot at you. while this happens, goblins and skeletons automatically run around and hurt people and buildings. you collect bricks so you can buy upgrades so you can move faster, or whatever. that's kind of the whole game!

Fun little game, that WILL be better with... a lot of polishing :> Few pointers: * The pixel art should be more consistent - peasants and elites looks like they are from two different games; * There is no tutorial and that's probably the first thing that should be take care of, the most things in the game seems like self-explanatory, but you don't really know what you should do once you hop in, i think that even few tooltips could work; * No minimap - might be by design but i'm not sure if it's kind of game, that should not have one - you move pretty slowly and risk of getting to the place you already pillaged is not really comforting; * UI - it feels like from some kind of flash game, i'm guessing you have pixel art artists for you disposal, maybe you should make advantage of it? * fix the sound volumes for sfx and demon lord grunts/moans Also the game might benefit from a bit more of micromanaging, gameplay feels like too static imo. Right now i don't feel like getting too attached to it, but will follow for sure and come back later!
for now i cant recommend game seems dead and abandonned not a single patch in 5 months
It's been abandoned, don't even bother, last update was october last year.
DO NOT BUY THIS! Game is abandoned, no content, bugs.
Updated Note: Nearly a year after this game's last update, I'm sad to say the game seems to be abandoned. I'll change my review to reflect the change if the developer ever continues work on it. I bought this game a while back with the understanding that it was in Early Access and it would get better with time. Unfortunately, while the concepts behind it are interesting, the game itself has failed to live up to my expectations. I hope to see improvement in the future (at which point I will reassess my recommendation), but development has just been too slow and the game itself is too underbaked to be something I can recommend. I really hope the developer hasn't abandoned the project, and look forward to coming back to this in a year or so to see what's change.
Super interesting concept in the survivors-like, reverse bullet hell, horde survival genre. Unfortunately, it never made it past the concept stage. It is horrifically unbalanced and there's not enough content here for more than a few hours. The developer hasn't made any updates in the last six months, so I think it's unfortunately safe to say that it's abandonware at this point. This is made even more unfortunate by the fact that their previous games were finished and well-received. All that said, the current price is three bucks (USD). If you're a fiend for horde survival games like I am, it may be worth picking up--you'll still get about a dollar per hour of entertainment. If the developers pick the project back up, I'll update my review.
It follows the new trend of games like Vampire Survivor and many others however, it throws you into the game, with little explanation as to 'this games' features. You die quickly and the resources to 'upgrade' spawn at odd times. Once dead, the upgrade points are a tech tree that is only when you are dead...so where is the similarity to Vampire Survivor and the bullet-hell/rpg aspect? Just not that well put together, yet.
Meh....not good. I want to like it....but I don't. Tries to change up the formula a bit, but fails to make it work well. You spawn towers that spawn minions and you collect orbs you can spend for upgrades when a well opens up.. most enemies dont fight you at all, just your minions, but then these pesky archers with crazy move patterns show up mixed in and just snipe you right out.... what you are supposed to do to fight the boss is not clear at all and I really dont want to play this game again to try and figure it out.
