definitely fun and I enjoy how the new world feature creates a replay ability and even different scenarios. overall if you like management games with retro game feel definitely worth it
I have been going back and forth on whether to recommend people the game, I decided to because i believe that its unfair to say this game should not be recommended since its so early on in production. This game is a great concept, but I need more roleplaying features in the game, and I'm not just talking about making a character's stats. What I need out of this game is two main things, one... is a way to interact with games more, and two is to be invested in the players more, for example, I talk to a player and they tell me about what they are like or if they are having issues with something, and if i accomidate that i gain more trust, which leads to less miscues or something. This game deserves to have a huge dialogue tree akin to old rpgs like fallout 1 and baldurs gate 1 to get me invested In the world. The strength is the cspn broadcast at the end of the week, which takes forever to generate but is so cool when you do see it. To finish this off to avoid rambling, I will not refund the game as i want the dev to continue to work on this game as it has a lot of potential.
such a fun game.
This game has some issues, cool concept and great idea but it needs some work. 1) Just sim the game, sure you can change gameplan - only if you choose the right class/role. Which that has some serious bugs going on. 2) If you choose to play as Scout class, you seem to be bugged up and causes a soft lock when trying to talk with coaches. Games will not sim if you talk with coaches. Weird bug that shouldn't ever happen in the game. I waited 20 minutes to see if talking issue would go away. As the generating talking button only happened when using CSPN Sportzone feature. 3) Sportzone features takes awhile to load up, surprisingly crazy amount of time. Its a cool feature but it has some bugs. 4) The ratings and how the team plays is a bit a mystery besides seeing the miscue section and some percentages. I saw a team with D+ players beat the bricks off a team, only to come back and put up 10 pts against a middling squad. 5) Seemingly only got to 3 seasons, but never saw any of the NFL offers. Someone stated that High school is in the game, only saw that in history section. 6) Ranking system is absolutely wild - You could be bottom feeding, low rank team and beat #5 rank team, you become the 5th rank. That's usually not how AP poll and rankings actually work. But hey, its a game. Game could be good, but its a weird game and needs some development. Good try, needs polish. Much better updates, but still some time to go. Kudos to developer.
This game needs a lot more improvement. But this is a decent base for a football sim. The SportsCast is solid and a pretty cool addition to the game. i always love hearing about the other teams and how they fared instead of going and looking up the scores manually. Although, I feel both hosts can be somewhat stiff in their cadence I cant really fault that for a game in early access. An addition I feel to the cast could be another host or hosts could be added to talk about maybe upcoming games or players to watch out for, like who is leading the league in rushing yards or The simulation needs a lot more as well. During recruiting the AD constantly blocks my picks for any reason yet non is given. Also maybe a feature to watch your team play their games instead of just a loading screen to the result would be a welcome feature i would say, if that is in the cards. Otherwise, this is a cake that needs to be baked a while and i'm looking forward to tasting more of it.
