Green Hell is one of the most immersive survival games I've ever played. It doesn't hold your hand, and that's exactly what makes it so rewarding. At the beginning I struggled just to stay alive, but learning how to build shelters, find food, treat injuries, and survive in the jungle made every small success feel earned. The survival mechanics are incredibly detailed without feeling overwhelming once you understand them. You have to pay attention to your nutrition, hydration, wounds, and even things like parasites or infections. It makes the jungle feel genuinely dangerous, and you always have to think ahead instead of rushing into everything. The environment is absolutely beautiful. The rainforest looks and sounds alive, with amazing ambient audio that really pulls you into the experience. Exploring new areas is exciting because you never know if you'll find useful resources or run into a deadly predator. I also really enjoyed the story. It gives you a reason to keep exploring, and the mystery unfolds at a good pace without taking away from the survival gameplay. Playing with friends is just as fun, since working together to build a camp and survive makes the experience even better. Green Hell isn't an easy game, but that's what makes it so satisfying. If you enjoy realistic survival games that challenge you to learn from your mistakes, this is definitely one of the best in the genre. Every hour feels like an adventure, and it's a game I can easily recommend.
