Quite fun, a little creepy, and a nice way to spend half an hour.
Greed’s Grub is one of those games that looks silly and low-stakes at first, and then slowly tightens its grip on you until you realize you’re genuinely stressed out over a burger order. The kitchen is incredibly well done. The lighting is dim and grimy, and there’s a constant sense that you’re being watched, judged, and one mistake away from serious consequences. The game understands that horror doesn’t need constant jump scares; it thrives on unease, anticipation, and the feeling of being trapped somewhere you can’t escape until your sentence is served. The core gameplay revolves around cooking burgers: grilling patties, assembling orders, and serving customers as efficiently and accurately as possible. On paper, it sounds simple and repetitive, but the game makes these mundane tasks genuinely stressful. Each day escalates in a way that feels natural. Orders become more demanding, new ingredients appear, and the pressure steadily increases. You’re constantly juggling speed, accuracy, and awareness, because focusing too hard on one thing usually leads to messing up another. Story-wise, Greed’s Grub keeps things vague, and that’s a strength. You’re never fully told what you did to deserve this punishment, and the game doesn’t overexplain the world or its rules. That ambiguity makes everything more unsettling. It feels like a twisted version of purgatory, where your only goal is to work, endure, and count down the days until you’re free. There’s also a surprisingly relatable undertone about exploitation and control, especially if you’ve ever worked a stressful service job under constant supervision. The sound design deserves special mention. The sizzling grill, the background shrieks, and the annoyed grunts of the customers all work together to keep you tense. Even when nothing scary is happening, the audio makes you feel like something could go wrong at any moment. It’s subtle, but extremely effective. Overall, Greed’s Grub is a fantastic indie horror experience that proves you don’t need complicated mechanics or massive environments to create genuine unease. It turns a simple cooking loop into a nerve-wracking survival experience and blends dark humor with psychological horror. I can’t believe it’s free! If you enjoy atmospheric horror, games that make ordinary tasks feel stressful, and indie titles with a strong sense of identity, Greed’s Grub is absolutely worth playing. Just don’t expect to ever look at a burger joint the same way again.....................................................

Fun unique high stress game with quirky atmospheric horror. A little on the difficult side but it's a fun challenge that expects competent players.
Kubz Scouts played this game. I thought, "how hard could it be?" This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard and frustrating but weirdly addictive. I hate this game. 10/10
"Greed's Grub" is is an unusual spin on the fast-food-restaurant minigame genre where the restaurant is in some hellscape and you're doing penance. Since when is going to hell "Community service?". Still, given the poor quality of the game, my expectations about everything else from Brolokko are equally flat. Still, there's not that many entries on Steam with a toilet cleaning minigame, so if you are the one person on Steam craving that experience, now you have it. For everyone else, nope. What do you do in the game? Just bad minigames and "burger making" crap. But if you get it wrong you get a jumpscare. I was already scared when I discovered that someone really thought it would be okay to publish something this low quality on Steam. The graphics aren't great, probably not flipped, but definitely poor quality assets with no polish done at all. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. On pricing, this is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.
this game is so fun i love the graphics and the story line fun chill and spooky game love it
dlc where boss degrades me more?
This game was really cool. It has a cool, creepy, HOT (wink wink) aesthetic. There isn’t much to give complaints about, the little demon that steals your burgers and servers the customers for you is such a help (is NOT)! I think that the speed its good and if you can plan and batch cook some burgers you should be ok. It stresses me out in the good way and can get quite addictive, good thing there’s an endless mode! I didn’t make it past night 5 but that’s more a comment on me vs the game. Review Gameplay: https://youtu.be/7UY9jWNOOt8
