This is a scam. A broken asset flipped game made by a developer who doesn't know what he's doing and just moves onto his next grift. The game servers are offline so the game won't run. Do not give this guy any money and report this game to Steam to have him and his games removed.
this is a game that exists. you can't play it though. not for any of the usual reasons, no it just blows up your device.

Greed of Man, developed and published by NIK, sets out to deliver a sprawling online sandbox where players carve their own path in a living, player-driven city. The premise revolves around ambition—starting from the bottom and working your way toward influence, wealth, and control through whatever means you choose. Whether that involves honest labor like gathering resources and trading goods, or more questionable ventures such as crime and territorial dominance, the game clearly aims to give players the freedom to define their own role within its ecosystem. On paper, it’s an enticing concept that blends elements of life simulation, MMO progression, and open-ended roleplay. One of the game’s more appealing aspects is the sheer variety of activities it attempts to offer. Players can dabble in different professions, experiment with crafting systems, or participate in combat and faction-based interactions. The presence of a player-driven economy is meant to give weight to these choices, encouraging specialization and cooperation while also opening the door to competition and conflict. Ideally, this kind of design fosters emergent gameplay, where player actions shape the world in meaningful ways, creating stories that aren’t scripted but instead arise naturally from the community itself. Unfortunately, the reality of playing Greed of Man doesn’t quite live up to its ambitious design. The game is still in early access, and that status is immediately apparent in its technical condition. Performance issues, bugs, and inconsistent mechanics frequently interrupt the experience, making it difficult to stay immersed for long periods. Many of the systems feel underdeveloped or loosely connected, as if they were implemented individually without enough cohesion to form a satisfying gameplay loop. As a result, progression can feel aimless, and the sense of reward that should come from building a character or business often falls flat. The game also struggles with depth in its current form. While it presents a wide range of activities, many of them lack the complexity or refinement needed to remain engaging over time. Tasks can become repetitive, and without strong incentives or evolving challenges, the experience risks becoming monotonous. This is particularly problematic for a multiplayer sandbox that relies heavily on long-term player investment. When the systems don’t evolve or meaningfully respond to player actions, the illusion of a dynamic world begins to fade. Another critical issue is the game’s population. As a multiplayer-focused title, Greed of Man depends on an active community to bring its systems to life. However, the player base has seen a significant decline, which directly impacts the experience. A sparse world undermines the core idea of a living, breathing city shaped by its inhabitants, leaving many of the game’s features feeling hollow or underutilized. Without a steady influx of players, even well-designed systems would struggle to shine, and in this case, the lack of population only amplifies the game’s existing shortcomings. That said, there are still glimpses of potential beneath the rough exterior. The concept of a fully player-driven urban sandbox is inherently compelling, and the game’s willingness to give players agency over their progression is commendable. With enough time, refinement, and a clearer development direction, it’s possible that Greed of Man could evolve into something genuinely unique within its genre. The foundation is there—it simply needs stronger execution, better optimization, and more cohesive design to realize its vision. In its current state, however, Greed of Man feels more like an early prototype than a polished experience. It’s a game defined by what it could be rather than what it currently is. Players who enjoy experimenting with unfinished projects and watching them grow might find some value here, but those looking for a stable, content-rich sandbox will likely come away disappointed. Until significant improvements are made, it remains a title best approached with cautious expectations. Rating: 4/10
Greed of Man is a textbook example of a highly ambitious multiplayer project that is completely ruined by awful technical optimization and a lack of active development polish. On paper, it sells a highly intriguing premise: a free-to-play open-world criminal MMORPG where you start from the absolute bottom, mining resources, gathering illegal product components, and setting up clandestine laboratories with friends to dominate a regional market economy. Unfortunately, spending exactly 30 minutes inside the client reveals that the actual product is almost entirely unplayable. The application suffers from massive stability drops right out of the gate. You spend a good portion of your short session just fighting the frozen loading screens, which can easily trigger hard client crashes or system lockups. If you actually manage to spawn into the city layout, you are greeted with extremely wooden character animations, clunky weapon feedback boundaries, and a barebones user interface. While the community guides surrounding illegal smuggling and bank robberies sound chaotic and fun, the game’s core survival loops—including an aggressive hunger and thirst mechanics structure—simply punish you before you can find any meaningful direction. It feels like a rough, unfinished server asset test rather than a functioning role-playing experience. While it won't clutter your active profile page with broken achievement trackers, it fails to deliver an actual video game. Skip it
this game is shocking and the creator is very greedy 😢😢😢
This game is very buggy, took me days to finally open it for once and then i couldn't even play because the login timed out. Could've been a good game but way too many bugs, i tried lowering the graphics and more but nothing worked.
