i got this game thinking it would be okay and its safe to say i love this game...just note you will need the wiki open while playing this.
A very grindy game and does not help you find out what to do. You just loose time doing too much but obtain too little from it. There is no proper quest tracker and some quests from the NPC tab are very vague. I got it for free when they did a giveway a while back but I would not buy it with my own money. Nice artwork and the "voices" are funny sounding but the grindy natures and constant confusion prevent me from recommending it.
tedious as ♥♥♥♥ to play, half the game makes zero sense how does using a whetstone repair my broken shovel? why do I need to put my log on the log shelf, then use telekinesis to remove the log from the log shelf just to cut the log? braindead devs lmao
A lot is going on within this game. So much so that it is exhausting to even learn the game. Combine that with a grindy gameplay loop and you have the recipe for something that scares away new players. There's workbenches all over the place. You have to walk back and forth all the time because you will have forgotten something you needed. The town feels like it's 20 miles away with this annoying wheat field you have to pass through again and again. The day / night cycle combined with energy comsumption is weird. Sometimes you can close a window with TAB, other times you can't. Really annoying! There are no objectives on screen so half the time you have no idea what you are supposed to do. No handholding only works if the game is well designed. You can't even see the state of your tools on screen. Why not!? I broke my shovel and lost it. I have no idea where it is. Turns out it might be laying on the ground where it broke because my inventory was (of course!) full. I have no idea where that shovel is and there's no way to tell on the map. Oh, and the map... Useless. You can't even see where you are. There's no marker. Yeah, this game is just annoying. Looks great, plays terribly.
ATTENTION! This is the most important info regarding Graveyard Keeper: The base game without the DLCs is a lot of grind (I have done it). With the DLCs, things are much easier and the story is actually told in full. Do yourselves a favour and buy the complete game including the DLCs from the start. And keep diggin'...! ;-)
Co-founder of the dev studio has become the kind who spends months boasting day-in-day-out about how his phone is so great at generating all code and assets for him, that he no longer even needs a PC for his work. ...oh and the game is unfinished, with no fixes to a ton of longstanding known bugs.
虽然是送的,但是还是不推荐。游戏有主线,但是提示很差。我玩了很久还没玩的核心的僵尸工人。地图太空旷,NPC刷新太久。走了弯路就中间时间全是浪费了的,没有一点其他可以补救的。
At first, the game was kinda fun. But as I kept playing, every tasks felt tedious and unrewarding. It wasn't fun for me and it felt like a chore to play. Interacting with the world would sometimes bug out, stopping me from what I was doing, as I need to be in the right place to keep up with the activity. Like collecting sand. The items spawning on the ground would push me out of the interactable object and stop me from shoveling sand. I was also prone to getting in places. There are some in-game mechanics, or overall information of the game that was glossed over and not explained at all. The tutorial in the game was not enough as I needed to look up online for the ones that I needed to know. A lot of the mechanics also felt undercooked. Overall, this is a mediocre game for me. So I'm gonna have to give it a thumbs down.
