Vive Pro | Knuckles This was pretty impressive. it's like a small Tomb Raider level - dark gloomy cavern, a cog without a handle and a patrolling Medusa. The swinging arm locomotion can cause grip fatigue, but it certainly does add to the immersion when you are swinging your arms and looking over your shoulder trying to out run the cackling Medusa! If you have 10 minutes to spare there's no reason not to try this.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
You can view my gameplay & initial impressions review here: https://youtu.be/yLv41QO4aZ0 So this is an escape room where you have to solve the puzzle while you're avoiding looking at Medusa. It's an arm-swinger locomotion. There is no smooth or snap turning. I noticed some clipping and collision / hit-detection issues. The hidden objects you are looking for are not randomized. I haven't beaten the game yet because that Medusa kind of reminds me of my ex and I just can't stop looking at her. Rate ?/10. It's free. Keep your expectations low and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Not bad for a 10 weeks project! I experienced this on the Vive Pro Eye and with Valve wands, with which it works well. It was a bit awkward and inconvenient having to simultaneously press on the trigger to hold onto objects while pressing on the grip button for movement and I would have preferred if I can hold onto objects (other than the flashlight) by pressing once on the trigger, but it did not bother me much as an experienced VR player. The greatest thing that this game got going on for it is its morbid, suspenseful atmosphere. The statues of the petrified victims are extremely well-done and frightening; you could swear that the faces of some of them were contorted in scare and pain. I also appreciate the fact that the developer put a few breakable objects across the area for fun. It's a simple game that does not try to over-reach, which is understandable being a free-of-charge project with probably very limited budget behind it. Now, the not so pleasant things: 1- The enemy AI is dumb as a rock. Medusa sticks to one area of the room and does not leave it. It does chase after you if it spots you, but does not follow you to the other side of the room where the exit door is. Further, it does not lunge at you or make any special movements; once it spots you it just casually crawls towards you and does not even turn your character to stone. It just passes through you and that's it, game over. 2- Medusa does not make any sounds other than the scraping sound while it is crawling through its area. You do hear sinister laughter now and then, but it does emanate from Medusa. It would have been nice to add a few short sentences as dialogue in a hissing voice. 3- A few bugs here and there: got stuck next to a column when I was trying to run away. One of the keys you are supposed to collect fell into the floor, disappearing into it and I couldn't get it out. Plus, during the tutorial when you are supposed to rotate the handle, weird purple lines appeared on my headset display. Not sure what was that and I never experienced it before. Overall, however, not bad at all for a free project I enjoyed it for what it is. I doubt I will replay it, but I am keen on seeing what the developers will come up with next!
Really fun scary game. Love the environment. I'd just walk around looking at the petrified people and taking screenshots if Medusa wasn't out to get me. I also like how running looks funny to anyone watching the player. The only thing I'd change is having to hold the grip button to run. Would be easier if it just switched on/off. Played it on a Cosmos, and everything works :) https://youtu.be/96Y3yq67IM4
J'ai été dérouté par le système de déplacement. Il faut marcher avec les bras ! C'est bien réalisé mais j'ai eu un peu peur..... Le jeu fonctionne avec Oculus Rift S
Scary Survival Horror! This title goes next to Obscura in my collection as one of Vive's top horror. Runs fine with just 8GB
Pretty creepy. Object collision is poor and controls aren't great. But it's free, so give it a try.
