GrandMa Badass - a crazy point and click adventure

Classic adventure game with an amusing story and features that prevent you from getting stuck. The story is amusing because it deal with a sweet old grandma who just wants to go out and buy food for her cat. Unfortunately, the country is in lockdown due to the global pandemic. There are rules everywhere she goes, people telling her what to do, and when she returns home, she discovers that the apartment has been looted and her cat has gone missing. Because the game was made on an adventure game engine, it has several limitations. The first are the settings, which are accessible only by starting the game directly from Steam; clicking on a desktop icon just launches the game with the default settings. Then you'll have to fiddle with the settings to play the game in full screen mode, which still has irritating black borders on the edges of the screen. You can expand the game to fit the screen, but it looks bad. There's also a potential that pressing alt-tab will cause the game to crash. The game is a traditional adventure game. This means you explore scenes with the mouse, click on hotspots, and use things when needed. To make the experience more convenient, you may hit a key to highlight every accessible hotspot. Another useful feature is that hotspots are removed from the world when you engage with them and conclude that they are meaningless. This makes the game extremely easy because it quickly shows you what hotspots are important for puzzles. The art and characters are cool. There are some adult themes, but it’s all done in a cartoonish way and the game doesn’t take itself seriously. There are no topics to choose during conversations and puzzles aren’t connected to dialogues. Although talk is gibberish, it’s not random and some words can still be understood. Instead, the game uses cool bubbles that display little images of objects. Grandma always hints at what is needed and writes main objectives into her notebook. One thing I’m missing is the fast travel or a map. There’s some backtracking from location to location, and grandmas slow walking speed isn’t exactly fun. So, if you want to go somewhere else, you must walk to a bus stop.

Un super Point'n'Click comme on les aime. Bourré d'humour et de référence. J'avais déjà adoré 3 GEEKS (du même studio) mais là on passe encore à un niveau au dessus que ce soit sur l'écriture ou l'animation. On ne s'ennuie jamais c'est un régal! Vite vite vite encore une suite!!!

Quel bonheur ce jeu ! Un point & click qui respire la belle époque des Monkey Island, Day Of The Tentacle et autres... De l'humour, de l'émotion, tout y est FONCEZ !

GrandMa Badass est un Point'n'click déjanté dans lequel on ne s'ennuie jamais. De plus en plus fou dans son intrigue, elle reste cependant fluide tout comme les énigmes proposées qui ne sont ni trop faciles ni trop difficiles. Pour preuve je n'ai eu recours à de l'aide que très rarement alors qu'en général je suis vite perdu dans ce genre de jeu. La conclusion n'est devinable à aucun moment du jeu tant celui ci part dans tous les sens. Le doublage est très drôle également, bref un régal.

Je recommande ce jeu à tout les amateurs de point and click de la bonne époque. Ce jeu est délirant et bourré de références aussi diverses que variées. GrandMa est un personnage attachant et on a du mal à arrêter tant l'aventure est prenante. Selon votre niveau compter entre 8 à 10 heures de jeux pour en venir à bout et surtout restez jusqu'au bout du générique.

Point & click sympas & déjanté avec de nombreuses références à tout un tas d'univers différents, les énigmes sont jamais tordu et si on coince le créateur Adipson aide rapidement si on lui fait la demande sur Steam.

Je viens de terminé à l'instant cette petite perle, quel surprise ! Tout d'abord je tiens à félicité Adipson pour son travail, j'avoue avoir pris une petite claque sur ce jeu. Le style cartoon est vraiment appréciable, l'humour y est omniprésent et les références sont toutes vraiment très drôle et appréciable. Merci encore Romuald pour toutes les émotions que tu m'as fait parvenir grace un petit jeu, pourtant plein de simplicité. Merci pour le travail que tu as fait, et que tu fais encore, seul... Tu mérites vraiment beaucoup plus de visibilités et de reconnaissance. RIP Marius et félicitation. Je recommande avec coeur !

Eines der besten Adventures seit langem - Kommt vom Spielspaß sicherlich an Monkey Island und andere heran. Eine Übersetzung in eine Landessprache oder Untertitel waren hier unnötig: Es wird internationale Compicsprache gesprochen. ;-) Einfach ein wunderbarer Geheimtip! Absolut empfehlenswert! :-)

Eine Katastrophe. Grafik ganz nett, das war es dann aber auch schon. Nerviges Rumgeklicke, der Cursor trifft selten. Die Auflösung für das geringe Alter des Spiels ein Witz. Für mich unspielbar!
