GRAND CROSS: ReNOVATION

This is the culmination of "What if shmups utilized 3d space more?". Amazing and one-of-a-kind experience. The normal ship can be hard to control with a stick, but it is definitely possible. The other two unlockable ships are EXTREMELY playable with an arcade stick.

Woah Really Awesome Woah

Fresh off my first run of this game, Grand Cross Renovation is quite honestly the flashiest, loudest, most bombastic, over the top shmup i have ever played. It's firing on all cylinders, all of the time! There is no refuge for your poor eyes, not even in the menus does it give you a break! It's the shmup equivalent of the "this amp goes to 11" spinal tap joke. it hates your eyes, it hates photosensitive people, and it hates your ears too. All this to say, it's simply fantastic! fantastic music. fantastic gameplay. fantastic visuals. I had so much fun playing this game, and I know ill be playing it a lot more down the road. So, if you like shmups (and aren't epileptic) this game is definitely worth your time.

holy crap this game rules. not too hard so perfect for a novice stg player like myself, but still presents a crazy cool journey.

Absolutely epic space warfare. I love the cinematic atmosphere & huge setpieces. Bring on GRAND CROSS 2!

I am giving this a positive review due to it's unique appearance and effort to do something different. That said I have yet to figure the game out very much at all after a couple of tries I can't lie.
