For centuries, philosophers and mathematicians have gazed up at the night sky and wondered: "Is there Golf On Mars?"

This game is undoubtedly better than the original Desert Golfing, however, there is a major glitch for 144 hz users such as myself (or for anyone who owns a monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60 hz). When the game is first opened, the game will run at 144 fps and will play more than twice as fast as the intended speed. I know this for a fact because when I minimize/click on a different window and click back onto the game, the fps locks to 60 fps and the game then runs at the intended speed (Additionally, the game does not run when the window is not selected, which is a bit of a nuisance considering the original game does not do this, but I'm unsure if this is intended). It would be in the creator's best interest to patch this glitch ASAP. Giving users who own monitors with higher refresh rates the opportunity to blaze through the game is a huge and unfair advantage. Beyond this, the "Golf Every Hole on Mars" achievement is unobtainable. Assuming you completed one hole every 30 seconds (which is a generous assumption, considering some holes are quite tough), it would take around 951 years to complete all one billion holes. This achievement may not bother a lot of people, but for achievement hunters like me, it's painful to own a game you love while at the same time knowing that you can't obtain all the achievements. I'd much prefer if this achievement was substituted for other achievements (i.e. get a hole in one, touch a cloud, etc.) or, at the very least, replaced with a reachable milestone (i.e. 100k holes). I will update my review and change it to positive once at least one of these issues have been fixed.

Let’s say you become a pro in Golf On Mars, and are able to beat every hole in an average amount of 20 seconds. And there are 1,000,000,000 holes in the game. I would take you a measly 231,482 days to play through the game. Or in other words, around 634 years, (not counting leap years) For 2,40€ I would say that is quite the good price to playtime ratio. And apparently 0,6% of the player base already achieved that goal, so I assume they must have started playing on day 1 when Steam launched on September 12, 1390.
Desert Golfing with better ball physics, more varied holes, and a uniquely procedurally generated course for each player makes this an easy sell, especially since it's cheaper than a hamburger.
It's the sequel to the best golfing game of all time, with added mechanics such as spin/the camera moving, and options to make the game more playable. And it's only $3 for basically infinite enjoyment. Buy this game now. November edit: still fantastic
This game has 1 billion levels. That's all I am going to say. 50/100
its golf, but on mars. Fun game at a low price point for some short term entertainment.
Fun little game. I have spent a few minutes on it and find it to be very relaxing. UPDATE: Game continues to entertain.
Mindless but in a peaceful way. Good second screen game if you want something on the extreme end of undemanding.
I've put in 20,000+ holes on iOs (along with 2.5 playthoughs of Desert Golfing)and felt the need to purchase this game on every platform available. This is probably the perfect 2d golf game. I absolutely cannot recommend it enough.
Relaxing and minimalist. Easy to learn and hard to master.
