Im direkten Vergleich merkt man deutlich, dass Out of Ore vieles besser macht. Während Out of Ore Potenzial nutzt und liefert, bleibt Gold Hunter hinter seinen eigenen Versprechen zurück. Out of Ore aktuell deutlich besser.
just wait for gold mining sim 2 this game has been out for 4 years with little to none new content. its also a buggy mess and now instead of adding new equipment and mechanics they are redoing the map once again. don't waste your money.
Gold Hunter, developed and published by eXtreme Studios, is an ambitious mining simulator that places players in the role of a determined prospector working toward building a profitable gold mining operation. Rather than emphasizing quick rewards or arcade-style gameplay, the title embraces a methodical simulation approach where every achievement is earned through exploration, careful planning, and efficient use of equipment. The game revolves around transforming a modest beginning into a thriving mining business by steadily expanding operations, purchasing better machinery, and uncovering increasingly valuable deposits across a vast open environment. One of the game's greatest strengths is its rewarding progression system. Players begin with simple prospecting tools, relying on metal detectors and basic equipment to search for traces of gold before gradually investing in more sophisticated machinery. Every successful haul contributes to expanding the operation, allowing the purchase of excavators, wash plants, transport vehicles, and additional mining claims. This steady climb from a lone treasure hunter to the owner of an industrial-scale enterprise gives the experience a satisfying sense of purpose and makes each financial milestone feel significant. The expansive world encourages exploration beyond simply digging for resources. Covering a massive landscape filled with forests, rivers, and numerous mining locations, the environment provides plenty of opportunities to scout promising claims and discover new areas worth investing in. Traveling between sites becomes an important part of the gameplay, while the scale of the map reinforces the feeling of managing a genuine mining business rather than a collection of isolated levels. The developers also include optional activities and hidden locations that help make the world feel more dynamic during breaks from the demanding mining process. Gold Hunter focuses heavily on realism, requiring players to personally handle many aspects of daily mining operations. Heavy machinery must be operated correctly, resources need to be processed through multiple stages, and equipment placement plays an important role in maximizing efficiency. This hands-on design rewards patience and attention to detail, creating an immersive simulation where success comes from mastering complex systems instead of relying on automation. While this depth is one of the game's defining qualities, it also creates a steep learning curve that may challenge newcomers unfamiliar with detailed management simulations. Multiplayer expands the experience by allowing players to cooperate on large-scale mining projects. Friends can share responsibilities, manage equipment together, or establish their own businesses within the same world. Hiring workers, completing contracts, renting machinery, and coordinating mining operations introduce an enjoyable cooperative element that makes large projects more efficient and entertaining. The business management systems add another layer of strategy, encouraging players to think beyond simply collecting gold and instead focus on growing a sustainable operation. The developers outline an extensive vision for the game through its Early Access roadmap. Planned additions include changing seasons, dynamic weather, underwater and frozen-ground mining, expanded vehicle selections, numerous additional mining claims, customizable buildings, player-owned facilities, advanced utility management, equipment maintenance, survival mechanics, fishing, quests, and deeper company management systems. These planned features demonstrate a commitment to building an exceptionally detailed mining simulator, although prospective players should understand that some advertised systems are still in development. Graphically, Gold Hunter favors practical realism over flashy presentation. The heavy equipment, natural landscapes, and industrial facilities effectively capture the atmosphere of remote mining operations, while the day-and-night cycle enhances immersion during long work sessions. The option to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives offers flexibility depending on whether players are operating machinery or exploring the environment. Support for controllers and joysticks also makes the simulation more appealing to fans of specialized simulation hardware. As with many Early Access projects, the game still shows areas that need refinement. Some mechanics remain unfinished, the interface can occasionally feel cumbersome, and optimization may vary depending on system specifications. Certain gameplay loops can become repetitive due to the realistic pace of mining, especially for players expecting faster progression. Nevertheless, these drawbacks are balanced by the impressive scope of the simulation and the clear ambition behind its long-term development. Gold Hunter succeeds by delivering a comprehensive mining experience that emphasizes realism, progression, and strategic business growth. It offers a satisfying sense of accomplishment as players expand from basic prospecting to operating a full-scale mining company equipped with powerful machinery and valuable claims. Although its complexity and unfinished features may not appeal to everyone, fans of detailed simulation games will likely appreciate its depth and long-term potential. With continued updates and the successful implementation of its planned features, Gold Hunter has the foundation to become one of the more substantial mining simulators available. Rating: 6/10
Weiter so! :)
Absolut enttäuschend.
Great game, I find it, relaxing but challenging and the digging for Me very satisfying mechanics. I have over 200hr in this game and I keep coming back. I love the panning of gold, walking around with a metal detector looking for big gold nuggets, and using the heavy equipment is so simple for keyboard and game controller. If you just want to spend some time on a satisfying relaxing but challenging game, that you can listen to your favorite music and dig baby dig. I hope you all have as much fun with this game as I am. If any of you need help with anything about this game, just write Me, I'll be glad to help.
