Why do I review a dead game? Only god would know. Played it years ago when I was in high school I guess and It was a demo ... I guess. Was full of fun but the other comment shoıw the true situation it seems. Saddend with the outcome.
Game is completely abandoned. They took our money and left, wish I could refund this.
Haven't touched Godus in over a decade. Was trash back then and 22cans abandoned the game. Peter Molyneux was at his typical over hyping self and pretty much everything he said turned out to be a lie, Pretty much killed his career because consumers were sick of his ♥♥♥♥. Populous was pretty much the start of the "God" game which Peter Molyneux started but everything after that he just continued to lie about every project he was involved with.

I didn't pay for a mobile game
hurts me to leave a bad review on such a game, unfortunately abandoned by creator
backed this because i loved the bullfrog and lionhead era of peter molyneux's games, but this.. THIS... nah... total rugpull to help fund some other stuff he was doing, never trust a word that comes out of peters mouth and NEVER EVER, buy a game from him/22cans until its actually finished (hint, it wont be and if it is, itll be less than 10% of what he told us it would be)
Game abandoned. ------ Jogo abandonado.
So Godus has been removed from the steam store, it's quite unfortunate to me because this game really had potential. in fact for what is here i really enjoyed it for what it is. it's a really relaxing game and you don't see alot of god games anymore. i myself can only really think of Populous and Black and White and i suppose there's World Box as a more modern title but none of them feel the same as this one. the negative reviews all say that this game was turned into a mobile game and sure maybe but that's not really what the pc version has to offer. you could still play this game unimpeded by a pay wall. i don't know what happened to this game as i didn't really keep up with the news but i know for what it was, it was a source of comfort for me if it was still on Steam I'd say buy it because for what it is even unfinished it's still a good game to me and i think at the end of the day.. your comfort and enjoyment in something is all that matters and i'm not ashamed to say that this is my favorite god game if you're here reading this it means you have the game and maybe know more than i do about the situation of this game. but i hope if you get nostalgic for this game sometime later down the line that it's of good thigs about the game and if not well that's ok too, everyone likes and dislikes different things and it's not like it realistically matters anymore anyway since it's off the steam store I personally recommend this game for as little difference that makes and i hope maybe the devs can make amends and repurpose the assets of this game into something more.
Peter Molyneux was such an inspiration to my creative journey as a child right through to late the selling of Lionhead studio to MS. I feel that the people that actually made those magical games (fable I & II, Black & White I & II) left the studio.. leaving what we have here, something that looks less impressive & polished than B&W2 on every single level. It's such a shame because I would have loved to have worked with someone like Peter in brining his creative artistic vision into being.. but even by the vlogs/making of documentaries you can tell he was done & just walked away from this, leaving it feeling unfinished!.. I wish he'd comeback with just one more great title as not to disappoint.. I feel like Charlie.. but I kept the everlasting gobstopper!
