Played on Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers on Windows 10. Absolutely no problems whatsoever, didnt' have to mess with compatability or configure any settings. Launched straight from Steam VR. This is a very beautiful VR world. Perhaps one of the most fantastic and immersive atmospheres to date. There just isn't much to do and it's very short, approximately 10 minutes short (and that's with having no idea what you're supposed to do). So yeah, don't read any spoilers or walkthroughs or it'll make it a 2 minute quicky experience
and nobody likes that
For the free price, I definitely recommend this preview to download. It is simply magical. Just know that it's a one time experience kind of thing and will leave you wondering why this full game doesn't exist.
(original vive) cannot "use trigger to pick up items", so am stuck at the beginning, where I'm assuming I'm supposed to light a candle using the candle on the stump...

Well im so glad this preview has no context what so ever, no tutorial, just a tree stump with some signs
Absolutely awesome! What a treat this was I really hope the project isn't dead.
what happened to this vr? it apparently did not reach into fruition. could have been a good VR game. my niece and nephews loved it. my mom and grandma also love it.. waiting for the final game
Viewed this demo back in 2017. It's great. The following recent article indicates that there is more to come! Hope its true. https://www.roadtovr.com/lion-king-directors-vr-project-gnomes-goblins-teased-coming-soon/
hra je prozatím v režimu “preview”, ale doufáme že brzy vyjde, jelikož se jedná o nevšední zážitek pro hráče každé věkové kategorie. Gnomes & Goblins nelze jinak než doporučit.
I assume its safe to say this game is DEAD.
This is one of the few games that actually understands its medium, and that's exactly why I'm excited for it. The *experience* of being in a new environment is what G&G takes advantage of and runs with. It seems, from this demo, that the wonder of looking around is specifically-designed to be as much fun as possible. G&G gets it. They understand that we shouldn't be retrofitting old game ideas into VR, and that we require a completely different approach to our thinking when making a game experience. More. Of. This. Please. Jon Favreau, well done.
A must for any vr-gamer.
