About
Glass Cannon is a difficult but chill physics-based roguelike where you plan each of your shots carefully to eliminate all your enemies in as few shots as possible. The game plays like a slower, almost turn-based shoot-em-up where you make builds and combinations that help you score big and ravage your enemies.
Gameplay
Clear all enemies in each round, get money and improve your arsenal
Buy new weapons each of which has a unique playstyle - some deal damage, some help you move around, some knock enemies away etc.
Mod your weapons with mods that synergize in unique ways with each other
Enemies you fail to destroy will attack you and deal their health as damage
Each bullet has a limit on bounces. Make use of each shot wisely so you optimize damage dealt to the maximum number of enemies!

After about three hours, I can confidently say this is an absolute gem. This is a great little game that features highly replayable gameplay. In many ways it's your standard roguelike affair, but with a twist. My closest comparison is the game is kinda like a more strategic Nubby's Number Factory mixed with Mosa Lina. Each level has you trying to figure out the best way to take out all of the enemies with your current loadout. After completing the round, you go to a shop where you can spin the wheel to get new weapons and buy upgrades for your run. It's a pretty standard gameplay loop, but the charm comes from how customizable each weapon and by extension each run can be. You can really experiment by slotting in all sorts of different upgrades onto each weapon. There's also some really neat extra abilities some weapons have if you leave them unupgraded or level them up to max level. Lots to like here with build variety. Overall, while this is a somewhat smaller game than a lot of other roguelikes available today, you can't beat the $5 price tag and the addictive gameplay of this game. Please try it out!
It's part strategy, part classic arcade, yet all new addicting game. I really like that I can back out of a game at any point & return right where I left off. I wish there was a way to zoom in/out on the arena instead of only being able to scroll to parts of the arena.
first run ended up with 111000000 hp and was doing the same in damage, and there isnt that many perks or items so im sure the same build is repeatable each time.
i use the shotgun you know why? cause one shot and many balls pop! great roguelike with elements of nubby and snake (i think its called that) but some weapons kinda suck and some things are not fully explained but its a learning curve its nice
very good for the price
Good game, should be harder and longer tho.
Not dying to the first boss is entirely dependent on luck from what items/upgrades you get. There's no skill involved.
Complete RNG. Not even remotely balanced. Literally impossible to win the game if you don't get extraordinarily lucky items.
