pretty cool. definitely room fore improvement, but for the price I can't possibly complain. Edit: So for $5 i can't complain much, but this could have been much better than it was before they axed it. I get it, it's a indie coffee break game and it didn't go the way they needed it to go to continue. It happens. What i will say is that the 1.0 was better than the 2.0 because the combat had directional control of your weapon, blocking and kicking mattered, and enemies varied enough to be interesting as well as the armor breaking and stuff. Not sure what happened here, but they tried something and it went belly up. Sadly cannot recommend this game in the current state but i will look forward to their future productions and support them how i can. My opinion is that they should re-release the 1.0 and have an option to load up the 1.0 or 2.0 in such a way as they can have both in the same root folder with as little work as possible: it might be worth it then. Sad to be unable to recommend this and I hope they're more successful in the future.
its what ive been wanting to play but there should be more maps and add mods too and maybe some kind of team deathmatch if possible with bots

Pre-2.0 it was a fun, small-scale duel game with nuanced and fun combat. As of 2.0, elements like directional attacks, armour and weapon choice have all been stripped away. You now have an option of three attacks, two of which are borderline identical (Swing and slightly wider swing.) The interesting and challenging combat against few opponents have now been replaced with repetitive, simple and frustrating hoarde combat, against 10 (or more, if you choose) enemies who surround and overwhelm you. Mobility options make it easy to escape, however, meaning you spend the whole game slashing one guy, then running, then slashing one guy, then running, then slashing one guy.... The new enemy classes feature attempts to remedy this by adding in different types of enemies, who require more attention to kill - unfortunately, they're always either surrounded by a sea of of grunts or will fly away the moment you get near - both of which mean you never really get a chance to learn how to deal with them or have an enjoyable duel as you'll be fighting your way through the basic enemies. This use to be a favourite game of mine to kill 10 minutes here and there, but the new direction the developers are taking it feels like a completely different and far inferior game.
test
This game is fun for the first 5 minutes but then it becomes boring real quickly and at that rate, it feels like useless grinding for a game that I don't care about anymore. Also you get only one weapon and nothing else so there's not as much variety as you think there would be. I wish this game would go back to the old days, where it took place in a sand arena with breakable walls and you had one more weapon than just a sword. But those days are now past and we're stuck with this boring version of the game.
Pre-2.0 was lovely. But the Devs abandoned it after the backlash. Abandonware.
