The controls are awkward and can't be customized, but the deal breaker is that there are no VR customization options, so it is unplayable with my standing room only VR setup. Such a shame because the game itself is very fun.
i like it yes
Fairly fun, and the way the story takes something of a dark turn part of the way through is quite interesting. I honestly think that above all (pun only partly intended), VR is an amazing medium to mess with your sense of scale like this. It's quite amazing how you accept your reality as an enormous entity that can pick up and chuck cars towards the horizon at will. That said, the teleport mechanism needs to bloody well die in a fire. Teleporting is fine, but what on earth were the developers thinking where each teleport point spins you around to a fixed direction that's different from all of the other nearby points?! Each time you get catapulted across the map to fixed (marked) locations, the whole world spins around you. There are few quicker routes to nausea in VR than having the world revolving around you unbidden like that. Fun, but only in very short bursts.
The funnest part of Giant Cop isn't saving lives, it's throwing them into the ocean as they scream "weeee!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F_rNYWw0tk
With all the city game hype going on, Cities VR, Tentacular, and soon Little Cities I had to find my next fix. I found videos of this game on YouTube, and had to try it out. You play as a giant cop, in some amazing looking cities, and you can touch everything. It feels like you are, well a giant lol. You can be a nice giant or a mean giant, the cities are yours. Supports room scaling so you can actually walk around the city. Here is a preview of the game; https://youtu.be/-bxxZxt3utI
Some might treat this well i felt like it made me sick so not sure what was going on with that. I think it was the fast movement when you teleported.
Certified unplayable on a 5070 with a i9 14900k and 48 gb of ram AND an 2tb ssd? Idk whats wrong with this game. I have tried meta quest 3 ad my headset as well as the psvr2 for pc and neither work. The only headset that can even get this game to not crash on launch is my old valve index or my pimax crystal light. If the devs wanted to fix this they have had years to do so. Im sorry but I used to enjoy this game. The frustration this has caused me is immense. I am disappointed to have to request a refund
A fun game, but tends to freeze and crash.
I like this, and would recommend it, but not at this price. £15 is steep for an experience that is less than 2 hours long.
didn't let me squish people in my fingers
