I found this game absolutely brilliant. The beautiful graphics, excellent voice acting, great music and ambient sounds make exploring the game world a most enjoyable experience. Movement and fighting is fluid and progress through the game unlocks new skills, better armour, more health and so on.. The story line is top notch, the main plot is divided into three acts - combats get harder, the tension builds - with plenty of side quests and activities to make exploration lucrative and worthwhile without feeling like a grind. Bearing in mind that this is a Playstation game, I decided to play using a Playstation controller without any issues. I imagine it would be a lot more difficult using just mouse and keyboard. That said, I did find the mouse easier for map/menu navigation and proved necessary to complete the animal sanctuary challenges on Iki Island (impossible using the controller). My overall opinion is that this highly polished gem is worth every penny and deserves recognition as a true video game classic. I've come to the end of the adventure and explored all of the islands so sadly it is now time to hang up my katana. P.S. I really hope the sequel (Ghost of Yotei) will be eventually be released for the PC or this will be my last Sony game purchase ... !!
