Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT

I've played through Ghost of Tsushima three times now, and somehow it still hits just as hard as it did the first time. Even though I already know the story and pretty much every quest, I always find myself coming back. The atmosphere is just incredible—the music, the scenery, and using the wind instead of a minimap never gets old. Sometimes I just ride around the island taking in the views. The combat is easily one of the best parts of the game. Every duel feels satisfying, switching stances never gets boring, and the fights stay fun even after dozens of hours. Jin's story is also amazing and still manages to hit emotionally. That said, I can't call the game perfect. On a third playthrough, some of the cutscenes start to drag. I really wish you could skip every single one of them—especially if you've already beaten the game. That alone would make replaying it so much better. The side quests and Mongol camps can also get a bit repetitive after a while, and sometimes you spend a little too much time riding from one objective to another, which slows the pacing down. 8/10.
