Love hate relationship I love genshin, I’ve played since 2020 and am ar60. It was a game that introduced many people to a gacha system and had so many fun things to do in co op. Now in 2025, I will say the game lacks many things, which is expected of a “1st gen” hyv game but things like lack of poc and poor representation of cultures is inexcusable. They put so much effort into the music created for the game but not for the characters. It’s not just them being allergic to dark skin types, but the designs and kits are getting boring or too complicated lately. Natlan has the poorest design in everything. The plot is terrible, the exploration isn’t enjoyable, and the characters are lacking. Every other region outshines it. I’m really hoping Snezhnaya and future Mondstadt expansions will be a major comeback. (Updated review 2026: We are so back.)

Best Game to Ever Exist In my opinion, this is the best video game in all of video game history. I’ve played games since I was 9 and came across this one in July of 2021. I can attest that my experience with Genshin has been absolutely out of this world. I am satisfied beyond excessive levels and it blew my expectations away. I love the sense of adventure and story I get while playing it. I love the grinding parts of it. I love the lore. I love the story and quests. I love the characters. I love the designs. I love how unique it is. I love the gamble when pulling for characters. I love how free to play friendly it is. I love EVERYTHING, absolutely freaking everything about Genshin Impact. You will not regret trying it out and I sincerely recommend it to every single person if you are in any way interested. This game changed my life for the better and brings joy and light every day. I do not feel frustrated, angry, or exhausted playing it (unlike real life duties and expectations) so it is a big relief every single day to have an hour to just be… happy. And if games should bring happiness then I would nominate this one for the job. Sincerely, a very passionate player who loves Genshin.

Love Genshin Impact Nice, pretty good game.

Glitching but overall great! The game has been amazing lately but for the past few weeks my game has been acting up and glitching? This happens with my half new device and 100% full internet.

Why? This games lore and story is absolutely creative, interesting and very intriguing. Although the story may be inconsistent at times. I like playing the game in general. But the character designs are a little questionable. Its literally the same thing every time. The girls get horrendous repetitive designs but mar cast get good ones. Theres nothing wrong with the stories, please just fix your rewards and character designs! Why are you even greedy, your a multi billion dollar compeny yet it isnt enough. #dobetterhoyo

Get over yourselves, Genshin writers Story mode is ruining the game for me. HSR and ZZZ allow skipping dialog scenes. Most games do. Genshin writers need to get over themselves and allow players to skip their boring and tedious stories. I’m not spending any money on Hoyo games until Genshin adds a skip dialog button. Update: another update, and story mode is now more time-consuming, and you now have to wait for save points in the story in order to exit without having to repeat parts of the story! Update: Genshin writers are obviously feeling the pressure, and made a big deal about speeding up dialog rendering by 1/20th of a second, so now instead of 10 minutes being the minimum time to get through a dialog scene, it takes 9.95 minutes. They are so desperate for people to like their writing, they’ll do anything to avoid adding a skip button.

Backbone Please I love playing genshin! I mostly play on my PC. I love that it’s an app. I got the backbone so I can play on the go. I’m a little disappointed that I can’t do that. If possible could that be added? Thank you!! ❤️

Awesome In 6 years of playing, nothing has ever lagged/ crashed/ had any problems with the storage. People who complain about optimisation, check your devices first- if they old/ bad- so that’s why the game will not work properly. And so tired of F2P players. Hoyo give you everything for free anyway, you don’t invest your money - so what’s your problem? Want character- go to work, stop whining all day.
