Fun, but could use more unique character design I absolutely love genshin, it’s just I feel like the newest designs are repetitive. (Detached sleeves, choker thing, short front skirt with long back) you can see that the Tsaritsa, Sandrone, Vesna and more, have the exact same outfit base. What happened to unique designs like Chlorinde, Noelle, and Arlechinno? Obviously something like this isn’t going to stop me from playing my favorite game but come on guys.

Listen To Your Fanbase I started playing Genshin Impact during the 1.1 event and immediately fell in love with it. The story was interesting, character designs were just as unique as their personalities, and the exploration was actually enjoyable. Everything was spot on, a perfect 10/10 for a story game player like myself. I spent years of my life completing exploration, side quests, and studying the lore, that's how captivated I was. The slow build-up to Snezhnaya made me so excited for it, now I feel none of that for this game. I can't even bring myself to load it in anymore. Everything was a chef's kiss, had a slight disappointment in Inazuma due to the designs being disrespectful but the way the characters were written made up for that, it's a gacha game, you're going to have fan service. The lore in Inazuma was uncanny and twisted I loved it, the nation was beautiful, and the exploration was a bit difficult but different in a good way. I started slowly losing interest during Sumeru, the character designs were horrible, especially Nahida's. It was hard for me to concentrate during the quest because I just couldn't fully fall in love with the characters due to their designs. Their personalities were unique and their lore is amazing, I love them don't get me wrong, it's just the designs. 3 dark-skinned characters out of 9 who are white. Wow. And I wouldn't even call them dark-skinned, it's like a beach tan. That all threw me off really badly, but I continued playing for Snezhnaya. Fontaine definitely made up for Sumeru's mishap, the designs were beautiful and I loved the unique exploration. God, I love Fontaine. Even the story was perfect, it was really long but definitely worth it. Sadly Genshin only puts their true work in when they can actually make all the characters white in a nation. "White culture? This is gonna be easy!" Yeah. But loved it nonetheless, made me sorta have hope for Natlan. Natlan was horrible. So so so bad. The downfall. I could go on for hours about Natlan so I'll keep this simple. Horrible racist designs again, even after all the discourse Genshin got from Sumeru, this company doesn't listen and it shows. The designs were so bad and the personalities of the characters didn't even make up for it. I know with how many characters are made and it's hard for them not to have at least a little bit of the same personality but it was bad. The only character I liked was Xilonen but slightly, the modern technology was a big throw-off for me. Didn't fit with the lore, coming from a lore player. Speaking of lore, the story of Natlan was okay...the designs were just really, really bad. Genshin got a lot of hate for it, rightfully so. I actually took a break from Genshin during Natlan because I was so disappointed. A lot of people did, wrote reviews just like this and Genshin still didn't care. I came back for Nod Krai, I was stoked to meet Columbina, she was one of my favorite Harbingers. I say was because she is no longer that and she was completely rewritten and it shows. When the news came out that Genshin admitted to rewriting the lore of Genshin I completely quit. I no longer play the game I was so excited to see the end of. I see the news of Snezhnaya and get upset. Snezhnaya isn't even out yet and it's still so disappointing. It's white culture Genshin I thought you were good at displaying that. This is why you listen to your fan base, I understand you're a Chinese company but when you release a worldwide game you're supposed to listen to your worldwide audience. Horrible game, horrible company. Anyone who supports this slop is brainrotted and it shows.

Not worth your time (or money) Many other gacha games treat you way better than this one, better rewards, better writing, better gameplay, so don’t bother. You could end up spending over 300 dollars for a single character all because the game wants to be stingy. Also there’s no skip button.

My six years of playing I’ve been playing this game since it came out, it’s been an interesting game, but now it’s just a bit of a dull mess with uninteresting things. It seems that the developers just don’t care about the players, they make uninteresting events and paid costumes of the characters do not work out, let’s pay attention to the costume of Citlali, what hair does she fix in her new suit??? she has a different hairstyle!!!

Disappointing Disappointing rewards for players. Major increase in power creep. Extremely slow quality of life updates.

I can’t even play I tried to play this game to see if it is worth but I can’t even play because it won’t let me change my goddamn email that I used on accident now I’m stuck here not able to do anything these people want my address and everything simply outrageous

Worst character. Delete Bennet already, he’s useless. Just random kid that doesn’t have normal lore, he’s like playable npc LOL. (And a lot of other characters can be a better support role.) (other in game good, if there no Bennet this be a 5 star)

It’s okay Characters don’t really have much of a diversity and when they do, they’re either gray or just a little tan. For example, Natland was meant to be based off Hispanic and indigenous roots and yet most of the characters were pale white or have a slight tan. Character designs aren’t the best since now most female characters have similar clothes like a small skirt and short sleeves. In my opinion, I think the storyline is okay, not the best but not the worst either. Lack of diversity will forever be my biggest complaint.
