This game somehow manages to suck really bad, despite being a good concept. Its a game about trusting or not trusting the other person, which on its own, has a lot of potential for interesting choices. However, the game also decides that if you press the same button "trust/betray", it just takes the button from you, forcing you to make a specific choice. Not only this, but the opponent does not have this happen to them, leading to situations where you are forced to betray the other person. This, in my opinion, really hurts what the game is going for. Not only that, but it seems buggy with rounds starting off at different pressure and in many cases, you just end up locked into a win/loss depending on your pressure. Decent idea, rushed and poor execution.
Fun for a round or two but quickly becomes repetitive. This is a game about trust. Someone ties you to a chair and tells you to press one of two buttons. You play with another victim, but you can not tell which button they will press. The harshness of the punishment is determined by the combination of buttons pushed. If you both trust each other, you will be hurt a little, but you will also have a better chance of survival. You can betray and be hurt twice as much. However, if someone decides to betray the other person, they will take no damage, while the opponent would take the maximum amount of damage. If someone crosses the threshold, the chair will kill them. The goal is to get through seven rounds. Although it would be simple to hit the green (cooperate) button every round and win, the game does not allow that and someone has to die. Eventually, you will have to press the red button. The ultimate goal is to survive five opponents. To make things more intriguing, you receive a few objects that change the rules. Such as tape to repair your chair or pliers to change the opponent's choice. If you die, you’ll have to restart with the first opponent. Each next opponent becomes more treacherous. While the first one will always press green, the next will change to red the first time you betray them. Since the opponent can use items as well, they are the only way to win. However, if you waste them too fast, you’ve already lost.

A creative idea with solid potential, but currently held back by technical issues.
GASLIFT: A Chair Horror has an interesting concept at its core. The mix of randomness (RNG) and strategic decision-making creates a tense and fairly original experience. The setting is unusual, and the idea behind the gameplay is definitely something different from what you usually see in this genre. That being said, the game has noticeable issues with execution. Some bugs significantly affect the experience:

When hovering over items on a table, their name and description often disappear unexpectedly. You have to move your cursor around the entire object for the info to reappear.
Interacting with elements in the environment can be buggy. For example, if you click on the chemical tank or control panel on the left before the pressure gauge animation finishes, the "BACK" button gets stuck on screen.
After day 4, I encountered a serious issue: I won the round and the opponent died, but he suddenly came back to life with no bloodstain, and the game just froze — the day wouldn’t end, and I couldn’t progress.
Visually, the game is passable. The graphics do their job, though the animations could definitely use improvement. They're currently a bit stiff and lack polish. Despite these problems, I do think the game has strong potential. It’s clear that the developer had a well-thought-out idea, it just needs more work to really shine. With bug fixes and some refinement in presentation, this could become a very solid indie title. For now, I’d say it’s worth checking out if you’re interested in experimental horror games and are willing to tolerate a few rough edges. Overall rating: 7/10

Pros - Interesting concept. Could make a good game. Sadly, not the case here. Cons - Easy to beat. Won't let you do a straight pacifist run if you wanted to.
cute <3
I've never experienced such a masterpiece in my life! Thanks for the unforgettable gameplay!
Nice idea but poorly executed & boring af, you have no choices actually since the game removes the buttons from time to time and not much you can do. Also the messages & the death animation is always the same...
