not too bad...I'd rate this over ROTK13...that game is just dumb and infuriating... 99MB for this game...perfection... if more effort were made it would be a high score...it's clear from the options, balance, and mechanics, the choice was simplicity and effort conservation. There are only a few music tracks...1, 2, or 3? But they are pretty decent, pretty good. Quite a number of characters. No bio, very few if any dialogue. I didnt chose the recommended script, and may not have triggered story flags if any. Each character has a portrait. Good quality portraits, if not high quality. Simple short narratives for the game. Simple menus functions, mechanics not well explained. Large number of craftable items. High material requirements to craft makes for a very grindy game if you are going to equip all your characters. But there isnt very much else to it. Its a grind to build up. The scope of this game is huge, a lot of things not built fully. For a game that's free, the quality is actually pretty high, balance aside can't say I see any wastage on what was done, just things not done. It's a good frame work and blue print to build on. It takes a lot from ROTK series of games, down to character tags. As basic as it is, there are few boring dialogues to put up with and few animations, but I can say this is a game, which I would not say for a lot of paying titles. It's very time consuming, and I'm not sure if it's worthwhile for a lot of people, but it fulfilled some of my cravings. This is the type of game that I rather like and happen to tick almost all my boxes. And, I have not come across a single one that I can consider a competitor. All in all, good quality basic and simiple game with a lot of limitations. Oh, btw...the actual in game graphics is nothing like the title page banner.
