The game looks great and seems really fun, but the weapon positioning completely ruins the feel for me. The rifles are pushed so close to the camera that it looks like half the gun is being swallowed. Everything feels compressed, squashed inward, and way too in‑your‑face. In the previous games the weapons were spaced naturally — you could actually see the rifle, its silhouette, and its animations. Now it feels jammed down your throat, and I don’t understand why they changed something that already worked perfectly. It desperately needs to be fixed.

This game sucks, lobbies are full of campers and the movement feels kind of clunkier. It is so bad that this is the only game in history I have refunded. Don't buy this unless you hate your life.

Having played over an hour I am impressed, it is much more realistic that isonzo and the gameplay is more like tannebberg - at last! So much more fun than the advance/retreat combat of verdun and isonzo. The graphics are amazing, and the guns feel much more real, shooting and reloading is incredible... but also a bit nausiating. Maybe I will get used to it. I have hit a few bugs and crashes but probably in a few months it will have sorted itself out. If you were disappointed with the gameplay in isonzo as a step back over tannenberg, give this a try. It might be what you are looking for. Like all WWI games it a slaughter fest at first and you probably won't advance much or see any enemies but if you stick with it you will get passed this.
