honestly, I think as a candy crush veteran, I can say it is very annoying when you play as good as possible and still need to make more money and go back to some of the levels with bombs and extra moves just to clear it, whereas if you line up a star, sometimes the amount of moves is simply too little, it reminds me of rougelikes where you technically CAN go to the end in one run, but it gets practically impossible much like Hades.
