first, the art is great, love that. and while the story mode is exactly that, mostly just story, there is a mode with actual gameplay, limited as it may be. maybe you're ok with minimal gameplay, maybe you need good gameplay in your adults only game, up to you, i get it either way. so why don't i recommend it? a few reasons, but a big part of it was that the promo materials are a bit misleading. let me explain. 1, the content: why do people buy adult games? for the adult content first and foremost. this game has that! a lot of it! however, most of it is straight content. fair enough i guess, but one of the bullet points on the store page is, and i quote, "EXPERIMENT in SANDBOX MODE- Over 100 different combinations of sexual partners!" so i assumed there would be a lot more same sex content than there actually is. in the story mode, so far the only same sex content i've seen is gay content. which, fine. not what i'm looking for, but maybe someone is. however, there could have been more lesbian content if you could also play as the woman. which leads me to... 2, one playable character: you play as the guy. and only the guy. "but the store page says 2 heroes and there's a girl right there!" yeah, you never play as her at all. the marketing was misleading. sure, it never says you play as her, but it hints at it because it mentions "heroes" and not "hero". it's subtle, so it's more of a lie by omission than outright. still dishonest though. "but what about the sandbox mode?" yeah, let's talk about that too. 3, the "SaNdBoX" mode: this is NOT what you think it is. at all. it's where the actual gameplay is. you pick a team of characters, you can lead them into battle to get rewards, you can give those rewards to characters, you can also pick characters to be intimate with. as previously stated, there's supposedly over 100 character pairings, so maybe i'm missing something, but from what little it seems like you can do in this mode and how it's not what you'd expect, i'm not so sure there's a lot of adult content to be found here. i expected a sort of gallery style "pair them up and watch them have "fun" in different positions at different spots". there's very little of that from what i've seen. and if you can pair up any characters with someone other than the guy you play as, i've yet to see it. i need to experiment more with this mode to be sure, but the whole package has been either misleading or given so little of what i want that i have little motivation to explore the game to find the crumbs. 4, the animations: i had to talk about this. i just had to. each "interaction" is a collection of loops that lead up to "that moment". disappointed sigh, oh well, is what it is, right? wrong. "that moment"? yeah, it's a loop too, and NOT A SMOOTH ONE! the animation slows to a CRAWL for this loop, it's as smooth as a spike pit, the animation is NOT designed to loop at all. it's as if it's designed to play and lead into the post O loop, but it doesn't do that. i don't know who to blame for this one, but i think tiny hat deserves some criticism for publishing this game. even more if they were the reason the marketing was mishandled. i wouldn't have bought the game if i'd known it was like this. but maybe some other people would have if they did because maybe this might have been their thing. it's certainly not my thing though. also, i have to say, the game feels like it should still be in early access due to the animation stuff i mentioned and some bugs, but it's not, and that i think, falls on the dev's shoulders.
Endlessly cucked and you blow a minotaur. Great art, but no thanks.
It has some great animations, really love the style. However, gameplay is EXTREMELY minimal. Just choose one person you want to hang out with each day. That's literally it. I guess you could just consider it a visual novel with the option to walk around. Still, feels like there could be a lot more.
Nope. Screw the general cuckoldry. Screw all the characters in the game, Celeste more than all, and not literally. I tried to give it a chance. It's just not for me, plain and simple. Hate it, the character's mindsets, their plans, everything. Some characters are okay, the rest make me question why I bought this "game". And if you were expecting gameplay, look elsewhere. This is a walking sim, but you only get access to 3 floors of a tiny hotel, with only 1 action per day, which is talking to characters. The dialogue is great, I'll give it that. I get the game is about "exploration", but no, the way it's handled, at least to me, if I were in the MC's shoes, I would probably have used the noose on my first day there.
its okay i gusse could use more girl on girl action to balance out the male on male action
I enjoyed the art style and the music of this game, and the dialogue is very detailed and well-written! The characters have distinct personalities and there's something to appeal to everyone in that regard, however, a few of the themes of this game are definitely NOT for everyone, unless you're into getting cucked then good for you lmao (more on that later) I did like the story, but I do wish the things we do had a wider variety of consequences. The 3 routes are pretty easy to figure out, but idk, I just feel that the way you attain them is too linear? I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wish that the endings were more character-specific to the people you romance :) (I'm gonna mess around and do another playthrough because maybe I'm wrong and I missed something, in which case I will update this!) Theme-wise, I just wish we had more say in the *events* that unfold, like, you wanna go do that stuff, sure, you go girl, but at the same time, seeing how some people thought they did the right thing but got the cuck ending because of one slip-up is sad :sob: Specifically me too since in my first run I tried to level up every character evenly and hang out with everyone (since I thought that's how you'd get to one of the 'good' endings!) but ahh, yeah, didn't end well unfortunately. Which, fair, I did the acts so it's only fair that our companion does too, but damn, didn't know she was *that* much of a slut hahaha Speaking of the companion, it would have been cool if we could have gotten a "chose your own character" sort of thing, and played as her, and see how the events would unveil otherwise! Or maybe have the option to swap between the characters, but these are just "what if"s :3 Overall, this game is an enjoyable and a replayable experience, although I wish there was more stuff!!
Man, I was really hoping I'd missed an "Early Access" notice. But nope, this thing is supposedly finished. It's not terrible, mind you. Just... horribly inconsistent. There are lines of dialogue that look like leftovers from earlier versions of the script, conversations where every other line is voiced, and a story that goes totally off the rails by the morning of Day 2, where it suddenly starts hedging its dialogue so that what characters say could maybe kind of possibly a little bit almost make sense, no matter what choices I've already made. Celeste is ragging on me for how I'm interacting with Izzy, and I haven't even talked with the imp. The art is alright. The dialogue is... pretty cheesy at first, but it gets better, and the voice-actors are actually not terrible. But good grief, if you're gonna try and tell a story, make sure the thing actually WORKS AS A STORY, where characters say and do things that logically follow from what came before. I really wanted to like this, but there's no build-up, no continuity, and no way it's a finished product. Can't recommend it, gonna try and get my money back.
I think this is a nice short game. I've been playing since early access and I love what they have done with the game. The achievements are a nice perk. The art is nice and the scenes are well-made. It does get a bit confusing since it almost seems like someone will act a certain way no matter the choice you make, but your choices matter, especially since there are different endings.
Too much yapping

No exactamente. ¿Consistente con lo que promete? Bastante.
