Initially, I embarked upno the standard governance of the city, yet the lack of immediate peril left me dreadfully underwhelmed. Howerver, once I assumed command under the rigorous strictures of survival mode, the experience became thoroughly exhilarating. THe true gravity of leadership revealed itself, for the ultimate disgrace is not the bitter cold, but facing the wrath of a discontented populace and being banished into the freezing wastes. Therefore, I must implore any fresh-faced overseer stepping into the frost to bypass the trivialities of the standard settings. Throw yourselves directly into survival mode. One truly discovers the mettle of the leadership only when walking the razor's edge between absolute control and exile.

Unfortunately, the game is currently unplayable for me. I am using an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 26.5.2. The game launches normally, but crashes after only a few minutes with an “Illegal instruction” error, apparently related to the sound engine. I would really like to play it, but I cannot recommend the Mac version until this issue is fixed.

Not much to say other than what turned me off from the game wasn't the aesthetics or vibes but more of an issue with replayability and how the game handles explaining things to the player.
