About
As humanity enters an age of pioneering new planets.
You are a scout of the expedition,
tasked with eliminating enemies who plunder vital resources.
But during your mission,
you uncover a massive hidden force lurking on this planet.
They seek to bring the entire colonization effort to ruin.
For the future of the expedition,
you must stop their plans at all costs.
Frontier Fire is a side-scrolling roguelike shooter.
Move left and right using the A/D keys,
and aim and attack with the mouse.
Beyond a typical side-scroller,
it delivers an FPS-style combat experience including aiming, shooting, reloading, and weapon switching.
The game progresses through stages.
Once the expedition begins,
you must face a wide variety of enemies.
From melee and ranged infantry,
to drones attacking from the skies,
and heavily armed turrets.
The battles grow more intense with each step forward.
Defeat all enemies in a stage
to unlock the next stage and earn rewards.
Use those rewards to strengthen your character,
and enter the next battle even more powerful.
Repeat this process
to reach the boss stage.
Defeat the boss to conquer the region
and advance to a more dangerous area.
Defeat the final boss to achieve victory.
Eliminate all threats across the frontier,
and plant your flag on barren lands.

Reviews
After trying it out, I think this is a pretty fun and relaxing shooting mini-game. However, I have a few suggestions: Sometimes the reload key (R) stops working unexpectedly. At those moments, I have to move left or right before I can press R to reload again. When the last enemy on the map is defeated, a flag drops, which seems to indicate that the level is cleared. However, the portal to the next stage doesn’t always appear near the flag, which might mislead players into thinking they can exit from the flag’s location. Also, the game seems to have built-in automatic multilingual translation, but the Chinese text appears as garbled characters.
