Before I played FreeRunners, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
This goal of the game is a 3-D platforming to race on selection of maps in order to compete for the fastest time and play with others online. The game has a simple objective and was made to be enjoyed with friends or alone if you wanted to see if you could get the fastest time. Some of the features are jumping, shooting, platforming, and multiplayer action with your friends. The game is free and was just intended to be enjoyed by people passing by. It was made as a school project and not intended to earn any money. So leave suggestions for me and the team to consider in our future endeavors.

this game feels like getting cancer and aids at the same time. it feels like being sodomised by a cactus while my balls are being crushed in a vice. i would rather cut off my own foreskin and fry it up into calamari rings than play this again. i would rather spend a night alone with bill cosby, jimmy savile, gary glitter, and josef fritzl than have to endure this abomination you call a "game". i want to kill myself now, but not with a short drop and a sudden stop, more like i would rather recreate every single video on liveleak on myself at the same time because nothing could be more physically or mentally traumatising than playing this absolute disgrace to mankind. 7/10
do bother
FreeRunners is a somewhat badly made third person 3D platformer with a "speedrunner" theme. The goal of the game is to see how quickly you uninstall it once you see how bad it is. The game is very simplistic, small and limited in scope and ambition. This feels more like a tech demo, proof of concept or student homework assignment rather than a fully fledged product designed for PC gamers. As such it doesn't offer any real value as a serious PC game. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. The lack of textures is a method that lazy devs often use to disguise their lack of talent/interest in doing the graphics properly and trying to disguise it under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with. It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It looks bad as a result of their decisions, and that's just another reason to avoid it. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Overall this is a really simplistic game that feels like someone played around with Unreal engine until they got something that almost looked like a real game, then rushed it quickly onto Steam, where nobody asked for it or wanted it. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 7 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you download this game? The game is completely free. This is noble a gesture that shows dedication to both gamers, and the gaming industry. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The quality here is simply too low for me to recommend, even for free.
dont bother
