I found the platform jumping aspect too annoying to stomach, and clicking flat world vs not clicking flat world in the custom menu doesn't seem to change the results. If you have to traverse a 3D jumping environment at least add a way to grab platforms and pull yourself up.
At first I was confused then angry then assumed the game made a series of levels that couldn't be beaten. This game could use a tutorial that holds your hand but now that I've played 15 minutes or so I think I understand how to navigate the map and change guns. This game is odd, it's not very fun or hard or easy. but it's very unique. I wish movement was better, this game feels kinda janky. I still have to recommend it for the unique style of metroidvania gameplay in VR. I don't think any other VR game is in that genre yet.

This doesn't really support macOS as of when I last tried it. It didn't work for me on 10.13 or 10.15. However, it runs smoothly on Windows 11. This is a pretty fun free first person platformer/shooter. I like how it randomizes the map layout, world aesthetics, and which items you collect as you progress through each play-through. Although the procedurally generated worlds tend to look worse than if they had been designed manually, the game lives up to it's name by offering infinite permutations of itself, which is preferable when it doesn't take all that long to finish one game. One specific detail I don't like about the randomization, though, is that it switches around the colors of some worlds every time it loads a game rather than just every time a new game is started. It would also be nice to see bosses that rely on something besides an indestructible forward-facing shield that compensates for their surprisingly low health by boss fight standards.
great but every time you alt+tab it freezes your computer
It'll be crazy if there was an achievement but Good Bootleg Games Developers! ;)
theres a weird visual bug that causes the ui to flash and entire horizontal sections of your screen to become grey, similar to that of a vcr scrolling, its very annoying and causes the game to generally be worse to play
Before I played FPS Infinite, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
